Why does my capacity for food decrease every time I attempt weight loss?

My first day on the cruise, I could eat 2 plates of food per meal. On my third day of keto, finishing a single plate is hard for me. I had the same thing happened when I did keto for over a month at 21 years old. I would visit a Thai restaurant and be full before finishing 40% of the portion sizes I used to eat before attempting keto. I once drank 4 litres of coffee on keto because I needed to stay awake to study for my exam, and I feel asleep within 2 hours because caffeine does not get processed when you are on keto.
