I feel like this is an un-winnable battle, whenever legislation comes to limit sugar, ban trans fats or control serving sizes, the big money comes in and lobbyists squash the legislation.

Not necessarily. I believe you could potentially eat fast food every day you want and have a good lifespan.
We blame fast food companies but ultimately its on people. Every country has fast food without getting fat or obese but its only Americans that eat double, triple, quadruple in terms of portions daily washed down with a bucket of sugary cola. This is coming from a non American. Then Americans have this fat acceptance culture and do whatever you want without shame culture. Had an obese couple lecturing me about my carbon footprint in regards to my diesel truck recently, they didn't like it when I brought up their carbon footprint being obese, theyd never thought of that.
Had a woman lecturing me about how hospitals are racist towards black women in pregnancy and child birth due to the higher statistics of death and when I asked with more black women being obese and having underlying health conditions how does that line up with the racist hospital statistics, couldn't answer me.

No. Do I think it helps? Absolutely not! I do think it is as bad for you as they say it is. And should be consumed in moderation. But I think the human body is amazing in itself ability to heal itself. I think your genetics plays a FAR LARGER role.
I think genetics is a factor, however that’s not something we have control over.
Nope.👍

Most certainly and I think the damage is done, that's of course not including the position in most of the food they add, this is for the most part just an American issue tho, the US is poisoning their people and have been for decades
Oh that's only one thing our fast food share in common, foods in the US have more chemicals and ingredients I can't even pronounce than the ones I can actually read 😂
Indeed
Let's put it this way -- it's not going to help them live longer! Longevity is based on all kinds of factors, but eating shit fast food on a regular basis is a recipe for disaster.
I think like all things with moderation its fine.
Sure if you live on it
Once a month isn't likely to cause too much issue
I don't really like fast food, I done in a few reasonable chain restaurants but mostly cooking for myself and use independents
I cannot imagine a diet rich in fast food will help you!
over processed fast foods.
Yes, it is basically poison.
