I've been accused by many people of being a wee bit extreme in everything I do. And I realize I like pushing my limits and taking risks. So my latest idea was this. I backed off my leg workouts almost completely about 3 years ago. I wanted to lose bulk in my legs and redistribute my body mass for a more balanced physique. All I've really done for my legs in that time is running and mountain biking. It worked. My legs have slimmed down and I've added upper body mass. My clothes fit better. I feel better.
But... I felt like it was time to start leg workouts again. So from this past Sunday to today, Thursday, I have been doing 100 squats per day. 500 squats in 5 days. In addition to my normal workouts. Only using 100lbs (45kg). I'm going for endurance and lean muscle, not bulk. It felt good. My legs responded well along with my back and shoulders. And it catapulted me from no leg work to being reasonably able to get back into a weekly leg routine fast.

I think more than being extreme you are someone who enjoys challenging your body and your mind and pushing your body beyond your known boundaries to see how far it can go. You're just a bit of a fitness addict, that's all.
And it’s fun! Curiosity.
I wonder….. what if?
Well let’s find out.
Yes, I can understand your way of thinking. Lol!
You are very motivated and determined. So funny because i did 100 squats yesterday and was thinking of keeping it going. I'm similar in that way regarding fitness
First day was shaky. 2nd day was soreness, knees, hips, shoulders, glutes. 3rd day soreness diminished, 4th day was pretty easy. Today was no sweat. Turns out it wasn't a bad way to ramp up leg work fast with minimal risk of injuring anything.
Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. I'm about to go running so I probably won't do it today.
@queenofcardio 100 squats? 👀 Crikey that must be some booty
Pretty extreme in passion and aggression
