I had migraine headaches from about age 8 to 50 when they sort of abruptly stopped. When I was young the only thing available was plain old aspirin. Virtually zero effect. Over the years I found that caffeine helped so Coke and Pepsi were my go to solution. Then my parents took me to the Faulkner Headache Research Foundation in Boston. They tried basically everything they had on the shelf. I think they were pretty much shooting blind. Barbiturates, amphetamines, a caffeine pill. None of it worked. Then in my 30's the triptan class of drugs hit the market. I was prescribed Sumatriptan and it was instant relief. There are probably a dozen triptan drugs and they all do pretty much the same thing. For me, they ended a migraine headache in probably 30 min. Works best if you take it as soon as you feel the headache starting.
Also, get off your ass, get out of bed, take a hot shower, pop open a can of Coke and start moving. It helps.
the vast majority of my headaches are mild... and I can just ignore them, I keep working and living as usual
I would say that about 20% of them, are moderate headaches, and those annoy me... that's when I don't ignore them... so I just go with Para (Acetaminophen) in 500 or 650mg because that's what most generic/or brands go with and that's enough for me
for the times in which the headache is stronger than that because I am also sick with a virus usually, I take 1000mg the first time, and if the headache is still there the next day, I just go 500 per day
so, other than that... I never really tried Ibuprofen or anything else stronger
I try ibuprofen first, then Excedrin later if it didn't work

None of it , I would not ingest any of these drugs , they are all horrendously bad , and incredibly dangerous , they don't fix anything , they simply mask an underlying issue.
Hydrate , really hydrate , rest , sleep , work though the pain , pain is there for a reason , these things will never help , it's a mask , not at all harmless.
I don't usually take anything. I just try to rest, avoid right lights, and eat something light. The headache usually goes away then
If it doesn't, I take 2 Advil or generic ibuprofen.
If I remember right, paracetamol is a better option for headaches than ibuprofen, as a default
Ibuprofen sometimes , sometimes I do not take anything
I don't take medication for headaches. If you are hydrated and make sure your nutritional levels are good you shouldn't get headaches unless you have an underlying cause.
One of those three, in that exact order, depends on which one is available in my nearest pharmacy shop.
Tylenol, I do not like to take anti inflammatories unless I have actual acute inflammation.
A tablet that has 500 mg of acetaminophen with 5 mg of codeine.
I try to let it go away naturally. but sometimes I take Bayer aspirin
Mostly I don't take any, I try to don't take at first, but if it continues, then I use Paracetamol
Advil.

Paracetamol, ibuprofen too if it’s a migraine.
