Have you helped assist someone in crisis? I helped to save a baby from choking, He got a a small plastic toy that broke apart and unfortunately stuck in his throat. I used my finger to sweep it out. Did not get it out until after the first five or so attempts.

Yes, several times!
1. A friend of mine in college was in a terrible psychological mess and she was contemplating jumping out of a 4th story window to kill herself. I helped her get through her turmoil and, as far as I know, she's a very happy little old lady, now who's pushing 60. She'll be 58 in Sept., the same day The Beatles recorded their song, "Birthday". She turned 1 year old that day!
2. Another college friend of mine about 15 years later was having a REALLY rough time of her life because of a neighbor that raped her and repeatedly harassed her all hours of the day and night and a boyfriend who treated her like a prisoner, lied to her about his age and even accused her of cheating on him by LETTING the guy rape her!! Again, she was talking about killing herself but, I had a nice long talk with her and saved her life and she's now 42 with two grown kids of her own.
3. Mom had a stroke in Aug. `10 and when she was in the hospital, she was told she had cancer in her left armpit and COULD have it removed but she'd lose the use of her left arm for a short while. The stroke already cost her temporary loss of her right arm so, she opted to wait and NOT tell any of us about it! After 3 years, it go so bad she had to be rushed to the hospital to have a rod put into her leg because the cancer ate almost everything there was in those bones!
As soon as I found out about her having cancer, I raced over to the store next to the hospital and bought stuff to make her a cancer cure, made it that night and started giving it to her twice a day from then on until the cancer was gone: about 6 to 8 weeks. So, I added 3 years to her life.
4. A friend of mine here at GAG was crying because his sister was about to die from stage 4 cancer so I told him about the cure I used on mom and he made it and gave it to her and it extended her life nearly 2 more years.
5. I've since heard from a few others here that they've tried it for their cancer and they said it worked great!
6. I can't recall the details but, at some point, I recall puling someone to safety from being hit with a car or having some other terrible accident befall them.

Here’s a story from my childhood. It’s not life-saving, but it’s an interesting little story. If you put yourself into a young boys frame of mind, I guess you would like it. There is this country girl named Mary Lee. She was very outdoors, Kind of a girl. She loved horses, nature, and getting around things we were at my family campground up in Asheville, North Carolina. One of the workers grandchild comes up every year for a little vacation to visit. She’s a country girl. We’re doing things by the stream together and she was trying to collect little Pretty rocks by the stream, they had like gold on them like gold dust on the rocks. We were in the stream in and out. then all of a sudden this snapping turtle came out of the woodwork while she had her back turned, and the turtles head was out of his shell he walking towards her angry with his head, sticking out in his mouth open heading toward her calves she wasn’t wearing any pants just shorts and that turtle was a few inches away From biting her and at that age, little kids are mischievous. You wanna see what happens if the turtle bit her or not, but that didn’t happen with me. I warned her immediately and I saved her because she turned around and got out of there just in the nick of time and she thanked me for it, but I’ve heard those things don’t let go those snapping turtles and you have to put like a stick between their mouth and try to get them out of there

@cherrylove007 not saved a life from death, but I did help someone who mentally gave up her life and was also financially down to homeless. now she has normal job and happy life

Yes. One had a heart attack right in front of me. Another one overdosed and I called 911. There are more but that's good for now.

Saved a lot of women who were suicidal, whether it's online and in real life...

The hardest one was when i was threaten that if i say that i love her and will marry her than she won't hurt herself and if i refuse than she's going to kill herself, i was really drained and stuck between her well being and not wanting to lie to her that a relationship between me and her or marriage are impossible, especially that she's living in another country!

After so much messages and medical intervention, i was able to save her without being forced to lie and tell her things that i didn't want to, actually it was like a miracle, cause for the first time i thought that i will fail!

I probably saved the life of someone on this website by answering her question.
She was being abused by her boyfriend who openly fantasized about killing her some day. The pain had grown so heavy she had no strength to leave. I helped take some of her pain and gave her that strength.

Nope, I've never been in a situation like that. I've helped people with mental health things. And one time I did call the ambulance because an old guy fell off his e-bike and was not in good shape. But I haven't seen anyone almost die in front of me. When an accident did happen, they were already dead and the emergency services was there.

I've Heimliched two people. The first was a friend in high school. The second was a gigger lady at an Acapulco Restaurant and I was the only one present with arms long enough to get around her torso. I pulled a toddler out of a pool whose floaty had inverted on him, pushing him underwater while his oblivious mother was sun bathing.

Once. An old lady hit the back of her head on the road when she lost her balance. I stopped, I reached out and grabbed her hand to lift her because she was on the middle of the road and cars and motorcycles were passing by in full speed.
She couldn't communicate and she was bleeding from the back of her head and she was in a state of shock, I took her to the nearest pharmacy and made sure she was okay and they helped her out and called her family from her phone.

I called an ambulance for a dude who had obviously overdosed. They brought him back, and he became very angry and stormed off. Bloody junkies!
