DNA is not a programming code, it's the instructions for building the computer. Think about building a desktop computer. You get instructions for buying and inserting components into the housing. That's the DNA. Then you install programs. That's the memory and learning.

The programming happens continuously -- our intelligence runs on a self-modifying program. Ask Google about the processes behind storing memories. We're learning more about that every day.

Yes, indeed, but I guess you know that the brain is equipped with a pleasure centre, kind of a device that can be activated when something gives us pleasure, and be destroyed for instance by taking particular drugs. I mean that it seems similar to a device (much more sophisticated of course) plugged into a computer.
