I'm afraid to let him see me naked because of terrible skin...I'm at a loss...I'm holding us back

I have been talking to this guy for a couple of months now. When we first started dating it was very nice we would have drinks, play pool, and just talk about whatever. Now we have gotten more physical and I'm worried. He really likes me physically LIKE REALLY likes me, he's always complimenting me(even when I'm wearing sweat pants and no make up) the draw back is that I have terrible skin. I used to weigh 215 but now I weigh 150. I love my body shape its perfect(5'7) however I have stretch marks everywhere. its so annoying because I'm where I want to be at physically but can't even really show it lol. I feel like this is keeping me from being with him..

You should definitely go for it, because like all my friends tell me, if you are about to get into bed with a guy, he's not going to be worried about something small like this :) I have stretch marks too, and they're just from growing, I'm quite skinny and have never had weight issues, they are perfectly normal and I'm pretty sure you have to just wait for them to go away, unfortunately :(. Although you could try Bio.Oil? It might clear them up a bit :)

Stretch marks are a sign of what your body has been thru. I've always thought of mine as I sign that My body has grown into the beautiful shape it is now, and kinda reguard them as battle scars lol. I bet if you sit down and talk with him about it, you'll feel better and be able t move the relationship to the next level. start small, like taking your top off instead of everything. You have to be comfortable with the situation for things to move forward.

thats how I'm starting to see it. Like I fought for the body I have now. my job is physical and I walk everywhere. I started having a vegetarian diet just so I could be healthier. we had like a 2 hour make out session in his car and he kinda took off my shirt and they were right there in his face but he was so intrigued by my belly button piercing that he didn't even notice lol. so I'm sure this situation is me being paranoid.

I have the same problem, but from gain not loss. (145 to 180) Once I realized that I still looked amazing in my clothes, and still got that nerves/excited grin from my honey whenever he saw me without my clothes, I was able to let it all go. Just give it a little time, you will be more comfy in your skin, no pun intended lol

Relax, most girls have stretch marks. And guess what? Guys hardly ever notice especially if they really, truly, genuinely care for you. And it sounds like he does. If he makes a big deal out of it then he's obviously into you for all the wrong reasons and isn't worth your time and attention.

I actually have stretch marks myself. it's really no big deal. when you're naked a guys only thinking of one thing at t hat point and it's getting you both to orgasm lol

I have a sh*t ton of stretch marks too and a number of other problems but I've gotten over the stretch mark thing because guys who aren't a**holes don't care. I mean you have to put yourself in his shoes, would you really give a rip if he had stretch marks? I wouldn't care if a guy had stretch marks and I'm sure that's what guys think too. (the non a**hole ones.) I'm not a man so I don't claim to know the truth to everything.
