OK, so I'm a competitive swimmer and I love hearing about other people who share my love of the water! If you have any good stories about you or a friend involving swimming please share! Also, please let me know what your favorite/best strokes/events are!

There are so many stories I could tell about my crazy team but I'll just pick one! :) One time at the state meet we were all eating cheez-its and one of the guys has the ingenious idea of seeing if the cheez-it is the same size as the pool tile. Finding that it was, my best friend proceeds to eat the cracker off the pool deck. Sorry its kind of a you-had-to-be-there-to-get-why-its-so-funny story but its one of my faves so I thought I would share it!

My favorite stroke is butterfly and my favorite events are the 200 IM, the 100 fly, and the 500 free

I just thought of another story I have to share with you! :)


So one girl on the team, Angela,is always playing practical jokes on other team members. So to get back at her we decide to bring Oreoes to share with everyone, but put toothpast in hers. So the day before the meet my amazing swim coach takes me and a few others to get toothpaste at a local gas station. We go up to the guy at thecounter and ask him what kind of toothpaste we should get. He gives us a really weird look and says...

...ummm nobody's ever asked me that before but okay. The next day we give her the oreo and at first she's like, oh these are really good are they mint flavor? Then she eats more and gets a priceless expression and spits it out exclaiming what did you put in these!?!?! LOL best practical joke ever. She didn't touch oreos for two months after that! :)

I enjoy freestyle or back but i suck at breast and fly. I don't know if this counts as a good story but
One time a guy i knew who is a basketball player said swimming wasn't a sport so I said we should try each others sport and winner gets to say if its a sport.
I did basketball and was able to get 13 points within 5 minutes which was our goal. when he did i said to do a 200 fly (i had to teach him the stroke to) in 6 minutes (I'm a nice person) he got a 100 done in 5:30 and then gave up.

I swim every day of the summer for like five hours a day :D Once I met this guy at a aquatic center when I was 15 and I developed a crush on him. After a few weeks he grabbed me by the waist and sat me on his lap in water and hugged me. I was totally shocked and then a little kid came over and ask, "do you love her"? He said, "very much" and that is how my first teenage crush went :D Best pool experience ^^

I was in pool with my friends, everyone joking push others to water :)) There we're a lot of girls too

and one guy 10 years old, was going to his seat, and a girl push him in the water :) But this kid can't swimm ahh ;d He was like arghhghgghghhgh, I jump and safe him :))

When I was younger and a kid I lived for snorkeling at the beach. But after a severe sunburn that left my back and shoulders scarred for life I haven't gont back in the water. That was almost 20 years ago.

okay so me and a friend like to mess with our coach so we bought a baby ruth and smushed it up real good until it was passable as a turd then we dropped it in the deep end. Sure enough 10 min into practice one of the jv kids notice and freak out so coach let us all out and practice was cut off for 30 min because our coach was trying to figure out how to get it out. So I dove in picked it up, surfaced and took a huge bite and their reactions were priceless hahaha

Oh and fave stroke is 50 free and 100 or 200 free relay.im more of a sprinter :p

ohh ı am very happy for this matter. I am swimmer. I have been swimming for 5 years I lost my form when I break, trying to catch it again my fav style is freestyle.
