Ok I recently stopped chewing my nails and I have let them grow out pretty long. The only thing is that the break very easily and it really frustrates me. How can I make them stronger so they will stop breaking?

It's probably something to do with vitamins/nutrients or your diet.

I've heard Extra Virgin Olive Oil (not sure if regular olive oil will do) is good for skin and nails. Apparently makes nails healthier and stronger. There are a variety of methods you can use -- from soaking your nails in warm olive oil for half an hour to leaving it on (with gloves) overnight. However, I haven't actually tried any of these so I can't vouch. Google is your friend, though. I occasionally use it in my hair to make it shiner and softer.

Myrrh oil applied two times a week or more works great, take good care of your cuticles too, it will help the nail to grow out nicer. Some hardening nail polishes will damage your nails in the long run so I really wouldn't recomend using that. Painting your nails aren't really a problem as long as you take good care of the nails and use a mild nail polish remover.

As a guy who loves pretty hands and sexy nails, to get them professionally done. My lady used to bite hers all the time and couldn't grow them even if she wanted to with that bad habit, so she goes to the salon all the time I love it!

You could take vitamins. Or there's Sally Hensen's Tough as Nails nail polish works pretty good. Or just get clear nail polish. Protects them. I use it all the time, the clear stuff, makes um tough. Hope it helps!

Over time if you let them grow a little then cut them back to a desent lenth the only thing is don't wear nail polish. It deprives them of oxigen and keeps them brital.

That is if you don't want to use Vitamins or such.

I had the same problem after I stopped biting my nails but I started using some of that clear nail polish hardener and it works so you should probably try that

There's a vitamin supplement for that, I think it was some sort of keratin (What your hair and nails are made up). You can buy it at any health store and it has really good results. My relatives take it and it worked for them.
