You don't have to give up food but you do have to limit certain things. If you normally drink whole milk I say cut back to 1% or slim. You also want to really limit your sugar (table sugar, starch, etc.) in take and get rid of unhealthy food like potato chips, coke (diet and normal), fast food. What you can insteaad do is to have multiple healthy meals in a day. Set up your schedule so that you have 3-4 main meals that is filled with fresh vegetables (good ones are the dark greens, broccoli, asparagus, spinach, etc.), meat (cut back on red like beef but try to increase wild caught fish). You should try to have a diverse assortment of meat and vegies. You could do something like a light salmon in the morning or lunch and chicken or beef at night. Don't eat donuts and bad cereals in the morning, instead have healthy breakfast like fruits, oatmeals, granola, etc. As for snack time, don't just reach for the bag of lays, instead try healthy stuff like sunchips or better yet eat fruits. You should try dark fruits like, red grapes, blueberries, black berries. They contain antioxidant which is good for you. You can also snack on vegies like carrots, celery, etc. I hope this help.

If you are a girl, 'not huge' but want a smaller behind and thighs, you should try to stay realistic.
Chances are you are not going to be able to loose the weight on your ass before you loose all the rest (breasts, tummy, arms, face). Not with dieting and not with exercise. Do you really want this or could you live with your curves? If you would be generally fat, loosing weight would likely solve your buttocks, but if you are more like a pear shape, loosing weight could not make a difference at all except you loosing your healthy look.
yeah if you can pretty much limit your intake per sitting. I mean I usually eat half and then leave the rest for later so if I feel a little munch-ish later on than I still have the other half. also drink lots of water. its so pure and refreshing and I find sometimes when I'm feeling snack-ish its usually that I'm thirsty and a little dehydrated. cut out as much salt as you can too.
i really love buying dips like humous or artichoke/asiago (my faves) and I cut up carrot sticks, celery, and cucumber and dip 'em. yum. I'm not much on meat either and I like to limit my intake (no I'm not a vegan but after the pink slim fiasco as seen on t.v. I have yet to eat groundbeef again). and if you really want to try it, (which I do) cut out bread, rice, crackers, and stuff like that once in a while. you don't have to cut out pasta and potatoe (I don't myself). I also do cardio (high impact) at least once a week and I sure noticed how that's firmed me up :o)
Add water you consume everyday. Drink at least 2 to 3 glasses of water before and after meal.

I always thought that a good diet is one that has nutritional benefits, is affordable, and easy to prepare.
For one, if there are no nutritional benefits for eating the food why go on a diet? And if the food isn't affordable how are you gonna sustain it? And if it's just too difficult to prepare how is it practical?
Think simple, think cheap, and think healthy. Some healthy, cheap foods that are easy to prepare are frozen bags of vegetables, canned tuna, frozen skinless chicken breast, canned beans, dried fruit, fresh fruit, fresh spinach, frozen salmon, etc. You can find these items at your grocery store and per ounce they cost cheaper than fast food.
You need only the most basic kitchen skills to prepare them as well.generally eating clean (avoiding processed foods, protein comes from lean meats, beans, and nuts) and limiting your liquid intake to water means not having to monitor your calories as much. most of what makes the food you eat unhealthy is the processed additives that go into it, not the food itself.
if you want to slim down just be sure to eat lots of veggies, lean protein, and exercise. you don't control where the fat comes off of, however, and your body has a natural shape to it that you won't be able to change much. its very possible you're just naturally meant to have a larger butt and thighs (see pear-shaped body). try for your goal but don't rule out that possibility.I preferred an extreme diet with cheat meals to eating mediocre food all the time.
You can still eat what you want, just have smaller portions.
