Most things I cook have a kick to them, lol, I love spicy food. My boyfriend loves my cooking, but one thing he often requests is that I try to turn it down a notch next time. =P And I don't even think it's that hot at all personally, but I guess he's more sensitive to it. My ex couldn't eat anything very spicy at all without getting horrible heartburn due to stomach ulcers. I have a nice collection of hot sauces for various kinds of cuisines, but I also like doctoring up my own and using a variety of chilis and spices. I make a really good teriyaki marinade that I usually use on chicken with rice, and it's sweet and tangy and aromatic, but has a helluva bite to it, lots of sriracha and red pepper flakes involved. =P

Yes! But not that spicy. I guess I can tolerate as much as the average.
Do you know what wasabi is? It's a green spicy mixture to put with sushi. There are wasabi covered nuts and they really burn the nose. My dad got them thinking they were something else. And felt that they were too strong. Which they are. :P
I want indian food now...
Not really. I don't like dull food, but I fix my food up with spices that add flavor but not necessarily hotness. I can handle some hotness and it's good in some foods. However I'm not one of those people that will burn their mouth out and say it's good. My taste buds are really sensitive to taste so too much hotness and I can't enjoy the food. I'm a huge fan of flavor and can taste it really easily.
I don't consider myself "one of those plebs" with bad taste buds that can't discern anything :D
I love spicy food.
I eat a lot of Mexican & order it más picoso.
I use a lot of hot mustard at Chinese restaurants.
When I order soup I take the top off the pepper shaker & pour the pepper in. One day at a restaurant a waitress saw me putting the top back on the pepper. She came over looked at my soup & asked if the top fell off. I told her no. She then said "Do you mean to tell me you did that on purpose?" I simply replied Yes.

Live it here. It's even more amazing when you cook with it that perfect ingredient of spices and your family/friends go.are impressed with your cooking and they beg you for the ingredients. Than they try making it and they can't make it like you do, so you have to bring the dish!
LOVE Spicy Food! Been eating it all my life, mainly because of family and heritage :) But managed to amaze some friends the other day by taking a jalapeno peeper off a pizza, dipping it in hot sauce and eating it without too much bother! Won £10 :D
I like some spicy food, whenever I cook, I try to add as much flavour depth as possible but it has to be a good level of spice where it's enjoyable. Therefore, I really despise anything that makes you feel like your tongue is on fire because to me, that just ruins the food, it's there to be savoured and enjoyed, not uncomfortable! I do enjoy my food reasonably bland for my weekly meals and I stick to spicy food for the occasions when I make curries or chilli.
I don't like it unless the spicyness comes from wasabi/ horse radish/ mustard because with those if you eat too much it is really bad for a short time then you are fine but with chilli and peppers the spicyness stays in your mouth for a long time also I don't like the flavour it gives.
I love spicy foods, I like hot peppers with a lot of things. I also like curry paste it comes in a jar and it comes in mild medium and hot and even mild has a bit of a bite. it makes you sweat lol maybe not the best summer dish lol.
I LOVE spicy food. I routinely eat food so highly spiced that it would make most other people choke and cry. My fiance is from W. Africa so she likes food very spicy also, though not as much as I do.
It's rarely hurtful to anyone. All in their heads, as they say. Once you acquire the taste for spicy food, you can never go back to the basically bland English inspired food we have in the US. I could say the same about women in most other countries, but I'm too polite.
I love spicy food... I love bitey pepper and eating food... I have been eating pepper all over my food since 5... Yummy <3
I put hot sauce on almost everything. I always gotta have my tapatio, spiracha, green tabasco and cajun hot sauce on deck at my house.
i like spices :D but I don't like cardamom seeds, or aniseed flavours .
but food without spice is like life without cheese for me :O lolSPICY FOOD IS THE BEST! I love it!, my stomach is very strong!
I like food to have a slight kick but I have spice where I'm sweating or having to pant and down water. I do like a bit of spice, but I will admit... I'm a bit of a wimp with it. My ideal hotness is a tikka masala.
Too spicy and my mouth just won't work until it's cooled down! I also sweat (which I HATE doing, makes me so self conscious) and my tongue just hurts.
I don't like chilli's, won't go near the things!southeast asia. you do not like spicy...you starve.
Nope nothing bland here! I like my food both spicy and flavorful .
Answer my question :DSpicy food hurts my mouth and I have to focus all of my energy on not panting like a dog.
Hell yeah I love spicy food.
And spicy food is hurtful?I love it. Hot Buffalo Wings are amazing, even better if the restaurant has good bleu cheese to dip them in.
I like spicy foods that are meant to be spicy like hot fries or cajun chicken and shrimp pasta from tgi Fridays. If something has the option to be spicy but originally isn't I'll get mild.
I love my spicy food! I can handle it, and it's not bad for me. I like my food with a little spicy kick to it, depending on the food of course.
