Girls doing physical stuff with guys...?

I work on a construction like team, building fences, walls, moving heavy objects like fallen trees, rocks etc etc. There's this really handsome guy on my team, and I was just wondering what men think of women who do physical things like that with them? I'm not useless, I can lift a good load and was directing the guys on how to maneuver what we were lifting for a lot of the time. I was stuck because I didn't want to seem like butch and controlling lol, but at the same time, I don't want the guys to think I'm not as capable - I lift and help as much as I can, but I also have no problem asking the men on my team for help with heavier loads, because men can just lift more. So what do guys think of girls who work alongside them in more physically demanding work? Is it better that I be strong or let the guys have more of the control in that situation?

i'd want you to do what you can do safely so you don't put yourself in a position trying to impress anyone but carrying more than you'd be comfortable with. it's good she's helping and being part of the team and every little bit counts when you're working towards something. plus, it's fun to be the man and help her lift something that's a little too heavy for her ;p
