Will this workout work? And how fast?

i have large calf and thigh muscles from sprints in track and basketball. I read this workout somewhere where you do squats for a three minute song, then do calf raises for a three minute song, then do wall sits for a two to three minute song. Then you stretch after wards and I will be doing a little cardio like jumping rope or jumping jacks with it. Will this slim my calves or make them bigger? Will it slim the rest of my legs too? oh and if I do it every day when do you think ill see results? Thanks in advance!
