Do you automatically think thin people are anorexic or bulimic or maybe you consider them healthy?
Just a random Q.
Generally yes, being fat means you have an unhealthy lifestyle. Although it's worth mentioning that a fat person who has been eating properly and exercising regularly for an extended time is probably healthier than a skinny couch potato.
Also, there's a difference between natural-skinny and eating-disorder-skinny. If I can see your skin hanging off your bones, it's probably a good indication that you are not in the greatest health.
As for me, I don't own a scale. If I look in the mirror and think "I've been looking a bit pudgy lately", I'll go work out and drop the weight. Be happy with your appearance, not the number of pounds you weigh.
Not really, there are a range of different body types everything from mesorphic and endomorph to ectomorph. Some people naturally have a harder time then others being able to hold a steady weight on the other hand some people have a harder time being anything other then thin... I don't generally associate them with being lazy unless they are on the extremes of either
I do not automatically think that people are unhealthy, lazy, etc. I work in the hospital, so I see patients of all shapes and sizes. Those with excess body fat are generally unhealthy; they tend to be at higher risks for multiple diseases. Some are lazy, some are not. However, I've had overweight patients that have tried diligently to maintain a healthy lifestyle for years and were overall healthy. I've had patients who were thin but were very lazy and had diseases that most people associate with being overweight. Therefore, I do not automatically categorize people.
If someone is obese that's unhealthy and I also think they're lazy. I understand there are certain conditions that will cause to gain weight, but lets be honest the overwhelming majority of people are overweight because they eat unhealthy and don't workout enough.
Same way if someone is underweight, it's generally associated with bad health. But I think it's harder to tell with someone who skinny. I know a lot of guys who are insanley skinny even though they eat well

Nope I do not. Some of those very same thin people might not be healthy even thought they look 'normal'. For example some people might eat a lot of junk and not yet know they have undiagnosed diabetes and just think they have a good metabolism, when in reality their body has just been running on ketosis and forming all that just and fat into ketone bodies used as a form of glucose that they don't need. So that's not healthy when they have such an elevated blood glucose level.
I probably would have before but I used to be one hundred pounds overweight but ran often and worked out. When I played sport I usally out performed the skinny kids. And then for other way around my girlfriend has a amazing body but is in terrible shape.
Being overweight comes with bad health in the future.
Being anorexic is also bad health.
I think overweight people are somewhat lazy for not taking care of their bodies in the first place. But I think there are genes and hormones that tag along. Oh, let's not forget the pills they take in order to lose weight, but really, once they stop, they gain that same weight, plus extra pounds.
Too fat=unhealthy: YES.
Fat=lazy: NO.
Because I'm lazy, never excercise but I'm thin. I think sometimes it just goes with your gene.
nope. from what I see rich people are fat because they eat a lot and they have money to do so. I thnk overweight people were considered wealthy back in the day.
In the u.s. right now, there's a strong correlation between income and weight, with poorer people being significantly heavier. This is especially true for women.
Yes.
Being overweight is an indication of bad health.
fat people are unhealthy = fact. I must admit I think they are lazy (which is not necessarily true.. most of the time it is true though).
You could be anorexic and be a coach potato.
