Should I contact a guy I like with a joke? Ice breakers

Basically haven't seen this guy for months and now found him completely randomly on Facebook, and have a big crush on him btw.

I don't know If he remembers me at all but want to have an ice breaker to see if he does. Would a joke be the best way to do it?

If not how can I do it?

I think telling a joke would depend on the type of personality the guy has or if you both humoured each other when you previously talked?

If so then sure maybe an old joke you told him before that he found really funny. This would make him laugh again and remember the good times you both had together. Then maybe go onto stuff you used to do together, the time you spent together, this would unconsciously make him think of you and bring back all the past emotions.

You could also check up on how his life has been going what he has been up to, but make sure to tell him what you've been doing too so it's not like 20 questions! Ask him if he would like to hang out again sometime and just let the conversation flow from there.

The best thing to do is be YOURSELF!

Well he has good banter if that helps? He can take a joke? And yeah I was going o joke about something we've done before.

That sounds like a plan! Just mention about things you've done together. Go with your gut don't try and be someone your not otherwise it's a bug turn off!

LOL no. Girls are attracted to guys who can make jokes. Guys are attracted to girls who can take jokes. Every time a girl tries comedy, it's just weird.

Well, it depends on his personality and how well you know him. Personally I love compliments on my looks. Why? Because it shows the girl finds me attractive. Besides I know I'm intelligent, so I don't need anyone to tell me that. I know I have a good personality, so I don't need anyone to tell me that either.
