I want to try some diet pills or something to help me diet, recommendations?

so I talked to my parents about getting something. or at least my mom me and my dad will talk tomorrow as a family. I want to know some that work. over the counter ones. I need the boost. something that actually works please

You're too young for them, imho. They also do less then you imagine unless you take wildly dangerous ones.

I don't see any reason to take anything unless you're dieting in a fairly extreme way. As a 16 year old male, there's no way you should be doing that, because you're still growing height wise.

What's your normal daily food intake like?

Portiom control. Just eat less and develope healthy eating habits. The thing with diets is that 5-10 years down the line most people aren't on the same diet they had. I would suggest a good gym program and maybe a protein supplement like whey protein

Hmm try probiotic pills they speed up your metabolism but they don't have all the sugar and fat from the probiotics in yogurt. Can you chat?

Diet pills don't work. Eat 6 smaller meals a day. Breakfast: cup of cooked raw oatmeal, cup of berries, 20g to 30g of some type of protein (whey, egg whites). 2 hours later: 20g of protein. Lunch: cup of fresh veggies, 20g to 40g of protein, cup of whole grain rice. 3 hours later: 20g of protein. Dinner: (same as lunch). 30 minutes before bed, a plain Greek yogurt.

Drink lots of water and exercise as much as you can. You will loose weight, try it.
