This guy I have been seeing in a long distance thing dumped me after our first disagreement. Basically I was traveling and hoped to see him and he had to leave town for family and forgot to tell me. I got hurt and calmly told him and he basically gave up. He said he shouldn't date right now. I got sad and told him that it broke my heart. He is not in rebound and we had been talking for 9 months but the main stressor is that both of our work loads have us working 18 hour days. After 3 weeks I sent him a message that was positive and that I would like to talk to him and he immediately responded and sounded happy to hear from me, was busy and will call me this week. Should I just give him time or give up?

I guess I may have also said some things that hurt him but I didn't call him names but he could have taken it to heart with all the stress
