What food to make for a Doctor Who party?

So, for the 50th anniversary, we're having some friends over to watch Doctor Who, and I want to make some themed food. So far, my mom wants to make broccoli cheese soup for the main dish, (so boring...) but she said we can most likely get fish fingers and custard. I also want to decorate sugar cookies with stuff Doctor Who related. Maybe some bow-ties or 3D glasses, and cute phrases like, "Hello Sweetie," "Wibbly wobbly," and "You're Dalek-table" I need more ideas though! The people coming over are major Dr. Who fans. Any ideas? maybe drink ideas, or easy decorations?

I'm a fan of the 4th Doctor, so all of these are references to the Tom Baker era:

How about 'scarf cookies', in reference to the 4th Doctor's long scarf? Instead of round sugar cookies, make some long, thin ones and decorate with the scarf colors...

Jelly Babies, of course...

Key to Time cookies? Sort of shaped like the segments of the "Key to Time" (and fit together somehow)...

K-9 cookies?

Octopus in reference to "The Power of Kroll" (assuming you can get good octopus, which might not be easy)..

Blood sausage in reference to "The Stones of Blood" (assuming you like blood sausage)...

Some red drink in reference to "State of Decay" which was about vampires...
