They gave me a shot?

so, I got my wisdom teeth out this morning. Just the top teeth, I got the bottom teeth out already. I was recovering like crazy, and even eating solid foods, and chex mix, with like pretzels and everything. Then I went to lift my arm up, and it hurt... when I checked, I realized I had a band-aid on my upper arm from some shot. They never told me they were giving me one, and I didn't get one last time. They usually just hook everything up into the IV. What did they need to give me a shot of in my muscle? I'm very curious. And I was extremely confused when I found the band-aid XD I thought I'd gone crazy for a second!

Most likely it was a shot for pain. Seems weird to put it in your arm but it works there as it would in your gum.

If its into a muscle it was probably antibiotics, just wait til they're open and ring and ask

Never heard about that happening...but you can always call your dentist.

You should ask the Doc if you want to know for sure. It was either for pain or for antibiotics, but that would be just a guess.

When I had my teeth removed they also did stuff they didn't warn me about. Happened to me too.
