Do you think my teeth have always been this way?

My dentist said I didn't need braces, as my teeth were straight. This was years ago. Now today I looked at my teeth (never really looked before) and noticed two at the bottom were slightly crooked. Is it possible they were always this way or?

Your teeth move around over the years. They will need to be really crooked before you really need braces. My teeth did straighten out a bit, but are still not perfect, but nearly nobody has naturally perfect teeh. Some people will take braces just for any small imperfection, but it's really not worth it unless you really need them. It's quite a hassle, really, and you force your teeth out unnaturally which causes them to remain unstable for many years - which is why you'll need retainers to prevent relapse.

It's very possible they were slightly crooked before, but the dentist probably found braces were not really needed. Only if you're experiencing a burden and/or pain, you should ask for braces. A good orthodontist will also ask for this and consult you properly on this.

I've had two teeth stuck in my gum for all my life ... luckily they won't grow, they don't hurt and I don't need braces.

I think teeth move and become crooked due to environmental factors, not genetics.

So based on that maybe you had a fall when you were younger and your teeth moved, or you received a hit of some kind. There are far too many factors.

I also believe that they won't get any worse and having braces is a choice and definitely not compulsory. If you feel uncomfortable because of these teeth, get a brace. If not then don't bother and save some money.

Paying thousands of dollars to correct something that really isn't a problem isn't really needed.

Now if all of your teeth were that way or a great majority of them then it would need braces.

But something hardly noticeable, no way.

Yeah, same story for me. My teeth came in straight as an arrow, but if I look at my front two bottom teeth from the top they're ever so slightly crooked. Looks straight head on though, so I don't sweat it. I suppose your wisdom teeth could have impacted a little and shifted them a little. Don't stress it, count your blessings. There are some pretty beat looking chomoers out there, haha.

Actually years ago they might have been OK. BUT when wisdom teeth grow they usually push the other ones to make room for themselves SO they get crooked. I got my 2 bottom wisdom teeth out as I always looked at my teeth and noticed the front ones started to move a bit...

Ask your dentist about this. He knows and will guide you and give an advice

They've probably always been that way you just never paid it no nevermind. I do know they your teeth wiil shift especially when your wisdom teeth are coming in.

Important question do you breath through your mouth ? If so it could alter positioning of your teeth . Stop at once or it will get progressively worse.
