I still have CDs, but most are ones I burned myself of my fav songs from other factory CDs. But in my car, it has a USB system that I play my music from. That or I listen to Sirius XM Radio.

I still have and play a lot of CDs. It's been a number of years since I bought them though. I get them from the library so I have an almost unlimited supply. It costs nothing to explore new music. If it sucks, it's no loss. I don't know how many the library has, but it's many thousands. Plus I can have them sent to my local library from any library in the state. So I can find just about anything.
Unfortunately the CD multi-disc changer on my stereo broke. I have a temporary one-CD player hooked to it for now, but I like to load up multiple CDs.
As for cassettes, I think I have 3-4 that somehow managed to survive since the 70s. They were good for playing in the car. I never did have a lot of them though. I thought they were really unreliable. That was just a bad type of media for music.
The problem being that, just like old VHS tapes, they got eaten by failing players.
Dozens of CD's. A few tapes. No 8-tracks. HUNDREDS of LPs. Many classics.
What do you play your LPs on?
I have a 90,'s oakwood cabinet retro Crosley LP, CD, Cassette player combination. I used the headphone jack to pipe it through my sound system. A little tinny compared to my Grandad's 60's Mahogany cabinet Magnavox tube type "stereo" with (guessing) 16" speakers, but it will do. If I were a geek, I'd fiddle with preamps and upgrade the speakers on the Crowley.
CD collections are like nostalgic treasures, each holding memories of past musical journeys 🎶. I still have some CDs and even a few cassettes that remind me of simpler times. While technology has changed the way we listen to music, having these physical copies feels special. It's like holding onto a tangible piece of history that digital media can't quite replace. Enjoy those musical gems, whether they’re played from USB or a disc! 🎧

I have two drawers full of CD's and I just bought a portable CD player and headphones 🎧
Now I know one reason why you and I hit it off together and that's because music 🎶🎼 is such a big part of our lives.
I had a pretty big vinyl album record collection that I had been collecting since 1964 - when they stopped making them. I also had more than 100 45's too.
But t sadly back in 2015 tragedy hit my family and my stuff and I lost everything I owned and I mean everything!! Including my apartment.
So there went my record collection too!
When I got back on my feet again in 2016 I started buying CD's. That's fine with me because I have a very nice collection of my favorite songs and music.
They still made 45's until the early 2000s. I have Britney Spears on a 45 as well as some others. But, I got rid of my 45 collection, and the few albums I had because they take too much time to play and change out. A lot of my early CDs I made were from 45s.
Not as many as in the picture, but we still have a decent assortment.
In my massage studio, if my massage clients bring a CD, I still have my CD/cassette tape player/boom box in there. I also have Spotify and some of my own relaxation CD's, so we're covered.
We have too many to count but well over 15,000. We also have over 10,000 records. Not many cassettes, though.
Question is, what do you play them on? When I used to play my 45's I had a Voice of Music record changer. But it finally stopped working. It is just faster to listen to them put on a CD now.
I still have a CD collection, I prefer physical media as it's mine to keep and listen to anytime I want to without fear of it being removed due to licenses not being renewed. I also prefer CDs as they provide a audio quality that streaming/download audio just don't matched. I have all my CDs copied to high bitrarte OGG so I can listen to music on my phone.
I don't have any cassettes, but I do have some vinyl LPs.
I still have Cassettes and CDs, but nowhere near the above picture. Perhaps 150 total. Probably shud get rid of them as I transferred all the music to my PC. I have over 9000 songs on my PC.
Hope you have a backup as a PC can fail at any time. It happened to me when my hard drive crashed through the floor.
I never really got into CDs. When i was really little i had some CDs and tapes, but when I was old enough to really appreciate music I got an Ipod lol
My CD player has died. I wanted to use it yesterday to play Christmas music. My cassette player was dead too. I ended up streaming music from my laptop from my wife's Sirius account. I have CDs , Cassettes and s pile of record albums.
Cassettes, CDs, DVDs and VHSs. The CDs and DVDs I still use often. My parents still have their vinyls collection.
I have cassettes somewhere; but nothing to play them on.
They went the way of the VHS tape players. No one makes them anymore. You have to buy one used somewhere.
I still have a case of them in my car. I usually just listen to the radio on a day to day basis but if I’m going a long trip I’ll break out the cds
A few thousand, most, that I burned or recorded myself from my own record collection. I've got about 62,000 of those, including albums, 33's and 78's. I still have at least 1000 cassettes, mostly that I record myself.
I have both CDs and cassettes, as well as LPs (Gramophone or vinyl records).
Gramaphone? Now those are really old, before 4 and 8 track.
Indeed, about 40 years old.
Yes. That is the minimum quality I can listen to for any length of time without getting a headache.
yes, to both... they're somewhere up there...
I have few Audio CD but I have no CD player since new desktop and laptops are sold without DVD-ROM
Nah I got rid of cds and dvds when they became useless.
They are not totally useless. And they don't have commercials on them like on cable TV.
I have a few CD's, but a ton of cassettes and a bunch of ablums.
not me. Pretty sure my grandparents still have old vinyls somewhere in their home.
CD's, cassettes, and LP vinal records. My cassette collection used to be much larger
I had a few tapes when I was a little kid. They were from a company called Wee Sing.
Wee Sing or Bee Sting? 🤔
Wee Sing. lol
I do have lot of CDs, DVDs especially of video games, OS systems, audio songs, softwares.
I have a bunch but they mostly sit on shelves.
I have a lot of CDs and cassettes
They don't make cassette players anymore. Some cassettes recorded on high grade tapes sound better than CDs.
I still have a portable one and a dual cassette deck
I still have CDs - mostly because I can't stand the thought of only getting $.50 for each of them.
I still have CD’s and even a few vinyls!
Not anymore but I still have the old ones.
I have both
