Garden pond with Koi, but my father black pilled me about the costs. If it has to be made done properly and excavator is necessary for the hole. Steel frame work with pipes has to be done and concrete needs to be poured in one piece. Later water needs to be filtered, filter material regally exchanged, preferably disinfected with UV-C light and heated in winter.

My parents has a pool, a gazebo, patio and a small basketball court in their backyard. It’s a lot of upkeep, especially the pool, not to mention the electricity bill. I think I’ll stick to a simpler yard, with enough space for my dogs to run around in. Maybe a small gazebo/patio would be nice. I would love a stream or pond too, as long as it’s low maintenance lol

Maintenance of pools , tennis courts , golf holes , and all other stuff is very difficult , thats when we see the demise of all this stuff.. well said , but I'm taking this question as a dream stuff.

I would have a garden stream with cooking herbs, spices, and vegetables. Along with that, would be a workshop shed, and an in-ground firepit with forged iron cooking set for camp style cooking.
