Why did my old music teacher complain about her boyfriend to her students?

When I was in elementary I moved to a new school. Our music teacher was a younger sweet woman but she seemed to have a boyfriend who was in a rock/country band. She would tell us that he was lazy. How he’s a bad father to her kid. Among other stuff. Do kids need to hear about this?

She even sang a song called “a bum bum bum a bum bum bum Andrew Kenny is a bum bum bum” like arumsumsum….

Yeah that falls under ‘TMI’(too much information) and should definitely not be said in-front of a class especially young kids. Its nice to go, “How was everyone’s weekend?” then share some nice wholesome things that happened over the weekend with the class. You do not complain about your personal life…. That is too weird and personal in my opinion, lucky none of my teachers were ever like that.
