Crush on piano teacher, what to do?

I have a huge crush on my piano teacher. He's only three years older than me and I don't know what to do. I do realize that having a relationship with him would make teaching difficult, especially if things were to get sour, although I'm bound to being his student for only a year. I found him on tinder so I guess he's single (left-swiped, I already have his number...) Should I try to make something of this, talk to him about random stuff and become his friend and maybe more? Or should I just try to stay professional and not care that he's super hot and just forget about him when the school year is over?

Piano teachers are a dime a dozen- take the chance- ask him out for drinks or something.

Don't play that "lets be friends" crap if you secretly want more. Just be straight up with him... unless you like wasting time and increasing the odds of rejection.

I'm just afraid things might get awkward. He's a professional piano student so aside from being uncomfortable it would affect his studies as I'm his practice pupil. And while I'm no where near his level (he's obviously very talented) I'm still playing such advanced pieces that I can't take lessons from just anyone.

In a worst case scenario, he will find another student and you will find another teacher. That's a worst case scenario- unlikely to happen- and not even very bad in the grand scheme of things.

On the other hand, the best case scenario is he's interested in you, you guys go on a date, later in life you get engaged, then married, then you start popping out virtuoso kids.

Which scenario has more value to you?
