What are your coping mechanisms, habits, or vices after a stressful time?

Do you smoke, drink, party, etc to calm your nerves? I always go straight to prayer and then drowning myself in music until I feel joy again. Thats Better than when I used to want to drown myself in the tub with tears… I’ve gotten more into going to the gym to blow off steam. I mean plus I get to flirt with hot guys and feel better in the process. Sometimes I’ll get back into playing games like Forza Horizon, Mario Kart or Sims but that never lasts too long because the controllers make my hand cramp up. Last year, my worse coping mechanism was shopping. I blew thousands just in between last summer and this spring. But I’m back to saving again. Of course my favorite vice was going to the casino but I actually tried not to go this year. The only exception was my trip to Vegas, but other than that, I haven’t been to the casino. I’m going to try to hold out to Memorial Day or 4th of July if possible. #FeelFreeToList
