    There is gold everywhere

    You can pan for it

Silver is worth lots of money you can go down to your thrift stores and check in there silverware bins
and you can usually find a fork or a spoon and just for one of those they are worth 30 to $40

there are many rocks worth lots of money you can tumble

them and make money if you know what you're looking for

Some money bills and coins are worth lots of money if you can find the right coin or Bill and all it takes is getting lucky one time and your set in life.

It really depends on what your in to
I build things customized jewelry boxes do a lot of woodwork customizing and building bars with something called burning wood with 480 volts of electricity positive and negative Burns veins Through the Wood that I either make a stream or river with colored paint or I'd line each vein with 24 karat gold it's really beautiful but I don't recommend that

But like I said it all depends on what you're into because If you want to do it for fun if you. Sell your work

Or if your just looking to have fun

I personally love scuba diving but it's not an inexpensive sport/hobbie to get into and you have to get the proper training and certification. I also really enjoy cooking which costs a bit to get the proper knives, cookware, appliances and bbq's/smoker. I also enjoy growing my own veggies and some fruits but you have to have the property and a decent roto-tiller to get the work done. I also enjoy swimming and you can always find, depending on where you live a suitable spot to swim whether it's an ocean, lake, river or pool to swim in.

Genealogy, a life long search. Someone gives you a jigsaw puzzle. It takes ages, but you finish it. Then that person gives you another box to add to the original puzzle. Never ending!

  • Some of my favorite “off-screen” hobbies actually make gaming even better 🎮✨
I’d recommend trying puzzle books or logic puzzles, they sharpen your brain for strategy games. Crafting is fun too—things like painting miniatures, making keycaps, or decorating your setup. Reading fantasy or sci‑fi builds your love for game worlds. I also like short hikes; they clear my mind so I enjoy games more when I’m back.

I've always believed that if you're gonna invest substantial time, effort, and maybe money in a hobby, it should be something that's readily accessible and benefits you directly.

    I'm into things like...

    • Skiing - very expensive dangerous and not very accessible.
    • Mountain Biking - again expensive and not accessible for a lot of people.
    • Mountain Climbing - very expensive dangerous and not very accessible.
    • Canoeing - very expensive and not very accessible.

    But then there's things like...

    • Fitness - running and body weight exercises require no equipment beyond shorts and shoes and will get you very fit if you do it right.
    • Food - learning to cook and eat healthy doesn't cost anything. You have to eat anyway.

Fitness and eating healthy will create a lifestyle that you can take with you throughout your life. It will keep paying dividends as long as you keep it up. You'll be more attractive, more disciplined, and less prone to health problems. My advice is to start with those two things.

Try people watching…… try observing people’s behaviors you will notice a lot of things. You’ll be able to tell who genuinely likes one another and who doesn’t. Who’s up to no good such as stealing shoplifting. You’ll be able to tell what couples if one’s ashamed of the other whose attracted to who including yourself who doesn’t like who….. etc.

    - axe throwing/knife throwing

    - crafting/fixing/building stuff...

    - Poker

    - playing an instrument for the fun of it...

because of your age at 19... any hobby that can keeps you away from your phone and the internet for at least two to four hours a day, active and moving as well

I got these cool new binoculars months ago. The Celestron 15x70 binoculars. I like to look across the bay to NY and sometimes look up at the sky at night with them. If you’re into peaceful and quiet things. They’re really strong binoculars and go far.

Collect something that interests you. The search for something to add to the collection is fun, and just looking at what you've collected can be most satisfying.

I collect coins. Others I know collect souvenir mugs and glasses, souvenir spoons, stamps, matchbooks ((harder today than it used to be), dolls, toys, etc.

    Just collect something you like

Something that you like, learn from or create something. Music ties in with people who like math. With music you create enjoyable sounds. With cooking you can create tasty foods. Gardening can give you some of the ingredients to create the food- plus some exercise. Model railroading is fine for those who are into detailed things. I like all of these and have done them all.

Origami is still fun. I made a small collection of cranes that have chilled on top of my kitchen cabinets for a few years.

If you live in an area near any nice outdoor places, like mountains, forests or the ocean, etc, try going for walks and taking pictures of the sunset or other good shots.

    Absolutely none.

I don't believe objectively cool hobbies exist and I don't believe whatever hobby I like could apply to you, just like that, out of the blue.

Depends on what kinda person you are.
Are you an active person? If yes, I'd say to try to play Padel.

If you're a less active person, I'd say to look into the Lego-Botanics sets.

Depends, do you prefer hobbies that help you pass the time and feel accomplished, or do you prefer hobbies that give you a product for your efforts?

My main thing is inventing but it's a talent more than a hobby. You could give that a shot. I like cycling and hiking too. Maybe that.

Downhill skiing if you live in ski country. Playing music. Making art in whatever way excites you. Generally "cool" means "follows their passion"
