If you have a pet snake, do you take it for a walk? Exercise for the snake is good... and for you too.

Yeah I would take it out daily to get some sun.
they need that in the morning.
my hubby doesn’t like snakes so I can’t have them as pets.
snakes like me. We were in Taiwan 2 years ago… while walking around, a guy had a 100 pound python getting sun… we stopped to play with it and asked questions… I gently pet the snake… it just slowly slithered around my arm up to my shoulders… just like that and hung around me… I told the snake that I can’t have it stay with me too long because I am only 116 pounds myself… so I gently returned the snake to its owner. I really like snakes. They are so pretty.
lol I like this. I'm not sure if most snakes would like to go on a walk. I don't have a snake, but if I did and they wanted to go on a walk, I would! It would be a hoot XD
I had a 5' long California king snake for a pet when I was a kid. It was longer than I was tall. I never walked it on a leash, but I used to walk around the neighborhood with it around my shoulders and wrapped around my neck or coiled around my arm.
I used to let it roam freely in my back yard with supervision, too.

I also hate snakes. With 10 of the top 20 deadliest snake being native to Australia I am scarcely going to like them. There are a lot of factors in what makes a snake deadly of course so the 'top 20' is ambiguous. The inland python has the most toxic venom but it is shy so it isn't know to have killed any body yet.
Australia certainly is in a unique position with regards to dangerous critters. 🥴
Seeing someone “walk” a snake always makes me smile 🐍✨ I’ve never taken a snake for a walk like a dog, but I’ve seen keepers let their snakes explore safe outdoor spaces or big indoor areas. It’s more like supervised roaming than walking. Exercise and enrichment are super important, but you have to watch temps, predators, escape risks, and stress. Indoors with climbing branches and puzzle-style feeding feels safer and still fun for both human and snake 💚

I wonder how she stopped it wriggling out of the collar. I suspect there's a bit of cruelty going on and a good dose of glue.
I hate snakes I don’t wanna have them around me
I’ve noticed that you’re taking on @purplepoppy her personality
my snake walks me...
No. Lots of chihuahuas around here. Too much potential for tragic feeding errors.
"Pet" snake is a bit of an oxymoron. What does one do with a pet snake? Play fetch? Cuddle on the couch and read a book? Do they alert you when a package is delivered?
Yes, as long as the snake isn't poisonous. Lol
Wouldn't mind giving that broad my black snake !!!
I don't have a snake, but I'd be worried that someone would step on it.
No. Do you drag your dog down the street?
Was this woman mentally ill?
I never knew that was a thing! LOL
I would not have one.
Sure, a black mama.
@AviatorTom that’s crazy
No. I hire it out.
I do walk my pet tortoise every day!
Every day and water him

If it’s thick
