With Christianphobes trying to shut down Christmas in various ways to rob us of our traditions & culture its now more important than ever that Christians & those others that love Christmas to fight back. Here are some ways we can save Christmas.

1. Wish People a Merry Christmas.

Even when somebody wishes you Happy Holidays you wish them back Merry Christmas. This isn't the Holiday season its the Christmas season so it important we don't allow these Christianphobes rebrand Christmas. When its Ramadan i would say merry 12 April or happy Muslim holidays, id say Happy Ramadan out of respect for their religious festival.

2. Christmas Music

This could be playing any Christmas music from pop songs,country, Carol music. Even going to a Carol service or Christmas concert. Even Christmas Carolers or go Carol singing yourself.

3. The Nativity

Its important not to forget that Christmas is literally celebrating the birth of Jesus our messiah. Nativity scenes, Nativity plays and even Nativity movies tell the story. Perhaps a reading from the Bible with your family will bring back the sacredness of Christmas Day.

4. Gifts

Christmas gifts or Christmas presents are a good way to show someone you care or just help them out. Nobody gets a gift at the "Holidays", even the most Christianphobic liberal calls it Christmas when it means they get a gift. Gifts are very special to kids and they get excited with anticipation. You don't have to spend a fortune as the anticipation is the greatest gift. They say its the thought that counts so a thoughtful gift could be just about anything, even the gift of laughter.

5. Feast/Christmas dinner

Christmas as well as being a day to go to Christmas worship is also a feast day. A feast is a huge, delicious meal that's served at a party or celebration often with alcoholic beverages. Christmas Dinner is usually a family affair but can be a community dinner or one with friends or even strangers. Different places in the world do it differently with different foods but here in the US it usually seems to be a large ham but I know others who do it with a turkey or a goose or as a polish family i know do it with a very large fish. My family does it with a Turkey, beef a ham and maybe a leg of lamb, maybe beef Wellington depending how many guests we have. We also have many deserts. Some people have starters but not us. Its a big day. Our Italian neighbours have The Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas eve, we attended this one year it was nice. At our Christmas there is plenty of alcohol for cocktails, eggnog, beer, bourbon, gin etc. Personally I like to have a few guinesses.

6. Deck the Halls

I think personally Christmas decorations & lights help people get into the Christmas spirit and spreads Christmas cheer. You don't have to go crazy or anything. I know many this year had their Christmas trees up early to cheer themselves up as its been such a tough year.

7. Make Merriment

This could be anything from wearing a Christmas jumper, to dressing up as Santa, to going to a Christmas party, Christmas games, some ladies like to dress up as Mrs Claus or a sexy elf. The point is to enjoy Christmas with your partner, your family, your friends, your kids, your parents.

8. Don't be a Scroodge

Dont be like some liberal Christianphobic Scroodge sitting on the sidelines with bah humbug picking holes in the Christmas Season with bullshit like "Jesus wasn't white", "Jesus wasn't born on Christmas day because the bible says Shepherds were guarding their flocks at night and in the winter it would be freezing", "Christians stole Yule from the Pagans & Sol invictus from the Romans", "Christmas is homophobic, Islamaphobic, Anti-Semetic, Transphobic, sexist" or "public Christmas decorations should be banned" and so on. Just shut the f*ck up, its been a long year and nobody wants to deal with your negative bullshit, just let people enjoy themselves.

9. Go to Church.

Its called Christmas for a reason aka Christ-Mass, its a holy day. Not sure how it will work this year with the covid but its important to make the effort to honor, praise him & commemorate the birth of the Messiah.

11. Charity

Many people go through a tough time and there's a lot more this Christmas. Christmas can make it that much harder when your in need and struggling to get by. Plenty of liberals will criticise Christmas charity rather than grab a ladldle. there's many things you can do to help those in need such as volunteer at a soup kitchen, the salvation army, church charities, donate money, donate food, donate toys and so on.

12. Quality time with your Partner

Ladies this is where that Christmas outfit may come into it. If you have plenty of time off together then make it "Quality time" if you can.

15. Watch Christmas movies.

So many to choose from.Its a wonderful life, die hard 1&2, leathal weapon, jingle all the way, batman returns, bad santa 1&2, miracle on 34th Street, scroodged, Harold and kumar, A Christmas Carol (Patrick Stewart), muppetets Christmas Carol, 3 godfathers, the grinch (jim carey) elf, home alone, the night before, national lampoons hard to think of them all. There's so many. There's a coup6witb Vincent Vaughan that's entertaining. Those two with Anna kendrick and Emilia clarke look ok the nut cracker and four seasons.

Well, I'm liberal-minded and I'm an atheist, yet I still take part in the Christmas traditions, wish people Merry Christmas, and accept it when it's said to me. I just don't go to mass, or pray, or do anything that involves the religious aspect of Christmas.

What @dem_hero said is correct. Before Christianity happened, there were pagan earth-based religions in Europe that believed in gods/goddesses, the turn of the seasons, the turn of the tide, etc. and they had a celebration called Saturnalia. When the Christians were persecuting anyone who wasn't a Christian, they found they rather liked the celebration because it was so joyful, so instead of abolishing it, they hijacked it for their own purposes. Early Christians did none of these things, a lot of early Christian traditions are actually forgotten. A lot of what you are talking about is what holiday traditions Germany exported globally in the 19th century. Legends about virgin births, flying horses and 12 disciplines appears in many religions.
