I've never attended an office Christmas party (including as an invited guest at a client's) where something didn't happen that was talked about fondly for years afterwards. My first date with my wife was at an office Christmas party when I worked for a general contractor. When I worked for a software company, I was a guest at a customer's party in Birmingham and I had a drunk married redhead chasing after me all night and had to corral a drunk customer throwing $100 bills around in the women's bathroom. Not one party was ever boring. :-)

    It's not even Christmas yet.
My last Christmas party I remember getting shitfaced on 9 glasses of champagne , staggering all over the place , there's a picture of me wearing a knight's helm somewhere and they told me I kept on saying "I want to go home" lol. That's all I remembered , so... last Christmas was alright , we'll see how it goes with this Christmas.

Never Ever Beeen to One, hun that was Ever... Boring, nor left me Snoring.
many Parties in the USA are always a Blast. Perhaps things are different in the UK, where the people out there have Less a Flair for the Holidays.
However, I do Admit, I have seen them during their Politic time, on the News Here, dear, where Roughing Up Someone, hun, who is not the Best from the Rest, to get their Political Correctness Point across.
    I laughed till I cried.
    Happy Holidays!! xx

I finish work on Wednesday (tomorrow) but our work party is on Thursday. We're going to strike bowling bar (which is a ten pin bowling place) and our boss hired a karaoke room that's attached to the bowling area. I'm actually looking forward to it. It's something very casual (which I like) the other one (last year) was very formal 😶😒 Blurghhh >.<

Cause it's still your co workers and your managers. You can't just relax and have fun cause you know you're being judged! Hence the reason why I stopped going to work parties after a couple of years.

Maybe it's because you don't like the people you work with. You're fed up of them.
