Girls, would you agree to a first date on New Year's Eve?

I've never really been sure whether girls thought about that traditional midnight kiss when deciding whether to accept an offer for a first date on New Year's Eve. Some girls routinely kiss (or more!) on a first date, some never kiss on a first date, and some just go with their feelings in the moment!

I think I've only had one first date on New Year's Eve and that was shortly after the Spanish-American War. :) :) :) Is it something you think about and would you agree to a first date on New Year's Eve?

Not a factor but I'd rather sit at home on New Year's Eve. It's much safer.

It's not the kiss. New Year's Eve is too much of a noisy party night for a first date. I want to have some conversation on that first date.

No, a first date on New Year's Eve would be awkward because you're supposed to kiss your date at midnight and I might now want to do that.

It depends on how you both would spend the night. Many people see this celebration as an excuse to party and get drunk till morning. Do you think you'd get to know and experience the important aspects of a first date?

I would never drink excessively because I am driving. I don't have more than 2 drinks the entire night when I am driving. And at my age, I don't really boogie like a reptile any more. Home by 1 am would be a late night for me!

I normally like to spend it with friends and family but it might be fun to have a first date on New Year's Eve. Though I'd be nervous about wasting a fun evening with my friends and family on something that might not go anywhere. I'm on the fence but it's not a hard no.

It would depend on the guy and how comfortable I was with him. If I had been talking to him for a while and trusted him, sure!
Though I'd make it clear no sex: just us going out and having a good time, or spending the eve together. A kiss would be debatable... again, depending on the comfort level and how the evening went. I wouldn't want him to feel obligated to kiss me, or vice versa. But if it happens, it happens.

Never considered it before but yes I would. However probably not someone I just met or a blind date. Frankly i don’t think I’ve ever had a kiss at midnight on a New Years Day. Romantic? Yes which is probably why I would want to know the person even if it were a first date.

I've gone n many NYE first dates and the kiss at Midnight was never a big deal. Sometimes the kiss would just be on the cheek but usually on the lips. Many times ended in Sex and I'd say I'm going to have a Fun Year...
