Do you agree that it looks really bad for holiday party to run out of food?

I was just at one that is hosted by a foreign consulate. They had a fundraiser earlier this year. That was amazing and there was a ton of food. They ran out of some good food very quickly. I was really surprised. And that kind of ruined the party for me.
