I have never heard of that before but it sounds like a great idea to me.
Has anyone else ever heard of a Friendsgiving dinner instead of Thanksgiving dinner?

Trending & News Friendsgiving is Thanksgiving & yes I have heard of Friendsgiving & for all the people who don’t have family or they’re unable to be with family on Thanksgiving those individuals can enjoy that day & food with friends instead.
As for me I’m having Worksgiving this year & although my employer was nice enough to force all shifts my shift already planned to have a Thanksgiving dinner.
Since when does it take a holiday to have your friends over for a friendly get together?
If Friends days would occur more often. The world could be a better place.
ours is “Fansgiving” this is our clan.
we also invite any of our friends who are alone. We don’t like to see people alone during holidays.
I never heard of it before either. I like the idea though!

I like the idea but maybe having it in March or April because we are overloaded with events in November an December. March and April is when we hibernate and don't see our friends. Summer is also a busy time. I get annoyed at having to go to a wedding in the summer.
I heard a lot of people in their twenties do that (I’m only 18 and still have Thanksgiving with my family)
Just did one last night. Great times
No it’s not Thanksgiving you can’t replace Thanksgiving
I only have one sister left. I’ll be alone at Denny’s for Thanksgiving.
My friends have moved away
I have. First time was in my early 20’s.
Yes having one this year
Not until now.
