Lonely is a feeling. If you don't feel lonely you aren't lonely. I was recently at family Christmas party. Sadly my boyfriend wasn't their and I felt super lonely. Even though I was surrounded by people.

Just buy the cat catnip... get it all fucked up on it. Put catnip tea in it's water dish. I think this could be a really fun Christmas. Sprinkle that shit in it's food. Good times. Just hanging out with the cat.

Cats make great friendly companions, I can understand being with them if you got no one else at Christmas buts it's not good if you are using them as a distraction because you have no one to be with.

Put yourself out there, I'm not talking about relationship wise if you arnt ready for that but invite someone over or go for a drink.

It is a perfect day to commune with your cat. Mine loved getting turkey on Christmas. He'd try to purr and eat at the same time which was a funny combo sound as he was a noisy eater. That was the best part of Christmas for me. (He didn't make it to this Christmas unfortunately)

Lonely I think is only when you are alone and unhappy, if you aren't unhappy then you are alone but not lonely, besides your meow meow counts, it's a breathing soul lol
