Do you know a Mary and Joseph?

Jesus was a Welshman, and there's a village here to prove it. That's right, Bethlehem is bang in the middle of Wales and can easily be found by following a star. There's even a hotel called " Y stabl" which needs no translation. What more evidence do you need.

People flock from all over to post their Christmas cards from their just to get "Bethlehem" stamped on the envelope. Of course you get the obligatory kids dressed up as Mary and Joseph.

And that got me thinking. Are there many real couples out there called Mary and Joseph?

I currently know a Mary, but she’s not married. I’ve known many Joes, but i’m not absolutely certain that they were all Josephs. My dad remarried a Mary, but his name wasn’t Joseph. I don’t think i’ve ever known a Mary and Joseph who were a couple.


In relation to your geography trivia, we have a Hell and a Paradise in Michigan, USA. Hell is in the lower peninsula, not too far from the southern state line. Paradise is in the upper peninsula, almost as far north as you can get and still be in the state. So a good majority of the state can honestly say that Hell is below and Paradise is above. Ell oh ell!
Hell, Michigan is kinda cute because they really embrace the name. Every little shop and restaurant has unique merchandise and many of them have hellish or devilish names. When i was a kid i had a bright red shirt with an impish little devil on it, i want to say he’s standing in or very near a fire. It read “I’ve been to Hell and back and all i got was this lousy shirt!”. Ell oh ell!

Fust for fun, I asked AI how many Bethlehem towns are in the United States...

I do know a Mary and Joseph in my town but they are not a couple and they are both rather old and grumpy. And we don't have a Bethlehem in my state but we do have a Jerusalem!
