Christians, Have you heard of Jesus has wife?

Someome visited at our friends house and I just happened to be there so they preached me about Jesus having a wife. I asked if they are Jehovass Witnesses and they said no we are "church of God and we are the only church who believe in God the mother" I asked why is that like most churches dont teach God doesn't have wife and that it is only God the father like in Hoy trinity God the father the son the holy spirit and she let me read the bible and taught me that Jesus has wife and his wifes name is Jerusalem and that we have God the father and God the mother and then she encourages me to get baptized in their church I decline cuz I just dont believe them at all. I believe in God but I dont believe Jesus has a wife. I believe in Holy trinity. They said if I didn't get baptized its either I will go to hell or heaven and that regret is always on the last. I really decline and they said I was blessed to hear the truth. Actually they were kind of forcing me to get baptized which I decline again. Like its not my beliefs. She also said crosses or putting crosses church is idolatry which is in my belief cross is what symbolized God redeemed us in our sins. To them its bad and idolatry. They were 3 and always asking me about bible I don't know some of it so I honestly answer what only I know and they said "sister I thought you're going to church why dont you know about bible? I said I dont really memorize it and Im still learning And they said "Sister thank you I hope you change your mind and get baptized in their church" I said thank you but we really attend different church. And they left

It's just another sub-sect, no different than those who say James or Thomas Didymas was his twin brother who took over the cult whe Yeshua was crucified and that there was no resurrection. Or that Mary of Magdalena, sister of Lazarus was his wife.

Believe what you want but don't delude yourself into thinking there's evidence that proves your particular creed is right.

But they said God cannot create a woman and how can God knows the look of woman if him God is man? And my reaction was like I thought God is powerfull he can do everything even without a wife he can make a woman and also God is genderless base on what I understand. Like how do they come up with that?

Like many religions they start off deciding what they want to believe then look for anything no matter how flimsy which supports those beliefs.

good answer, you go to a different church. nice story too. i think if jesus did his students would wrote, so probably no wife, nor a lady named Jerusalem nor marry a city. sounds off key.

Some claim he was married to. Mary because she remained with him during the crucifixion while his apostles fled.
There's also a passage where his mother prepares a wedding meal and this would have traditionally been done by the grooms mother.

But no where in the Bible does it say he took a wife.

He did not have an earthly bride. In Matthew 19, Jesus says that there are those who renounce marriage for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. For Him then to take an earthly wife would be contrary to His nature as God.

However, the Catholic Church uses wedding and bridal imagery to describe Christ's relationship with the Church. The Catechism of the Catholic Church says that "The Church, further, which is called 'that Jerusalem which is above' and 'our mother', is described as the spotless spouse of the spotless lamb. It is she whom Christ 'loved and for whom he delivered himself up that he might sanctify her.'" It then makes references to Ephesians, Galatians, and the Apocalypse (or more commonly known as Revelation).

I heard he was married to Mary Magdalene, although it's never mentioned in scripture. There's a prevalent myth that she was a prostitute, but that's not in scripture either. Of course to know that you'd have to actually read the Bible.
