Do you like the Hallmark Channel?

Question

The Hallmark Channel has become very popular. They especially push a lot of Christmas movies at this time of year. Sometimes they have the same actors and usually take place in a quaint New England town or a rural farm town. My wife gets mad at me because after the first ten minutes I can tell exactly how it will end up. Still, it is an amazing success story and they have added a couple of additional channels and I think that they now have some competition. Maybe it illustrates that wholesome family entertainment still sells.

They are great as you watch one you have the plot for all the rest! Some broken hearted guy or girl goes somewhere for Christmas either for work or home only to suddenly have the love of her/his life come face to face and glorious love at the end.

I don't watch the Hallmark channel, especially at Christmastime, because every entry on the schedule is formulaic to the Nth degree!

My wife and I often watch the Hallmark Channel. It's interesting that its movies are all variations of the same boy-and-girl plot, which is especially true during the Holiday season.

Hint: If you watch a Hallmark Channel movie, notice who the first guy, and first girl, you see. By the end of the movie, they will be a happy couple.

I don't watch TV anymore but when I did, the Hallmark channel didn't appeal to me. It's not realistic but like Fantasyland movies.

I do like the Hallmark Channel, but I admit sometimes the acting is meh. I like the stories and the predictability on occasion.

Not really. Who really needs all those sappy Christmas movies 24/7? My aunt watched a lot of that the last few weeks before she died and I even got sick & tired of even just LISTENING to them from the next room!!!
