Internet 'friends' are usually very short-lived and do not have any real involvement, in others' lives and activities. True, it is nice to have other friends outside the internet, that you can talk to, have lunch with, exchange a holiday hug with, but 'friends' like we have here are still nice to exchange thoughts with, share a holiday wish with.

Enjoy them and let them know you wish them a nice holiday.
