I doubt that you could find one today but they were popular in the 60s and 70s. I had cousins that had one. It came with a color wheel that would shine on it and make it change color.

They look cool & fun and clearly don't contribute to land fill. Bring'em back I think.
I noticed today a truck hauling a large number Christmas trees on a trailer which was weird it being 12 days after Christmas.
Then I felt sad for all the homeless people not having Christmas trees. I think this type of tree would be ideal for them as they fold up and the homeless people could carry them around from Christmas to Christmas
I remember them from years ago but I think you're right. I haven't seen one in a long time.
As I recall, there were some safety concerns about aluminum Christmas trees, especially about putting old fashioned 120V light strings shorting out and causing electrocutions and fires.
Aluminium fires are absolutely nasty.
Thanks for MHO
I do not keep track of the trees I have seen over the years but I do recall certain white tree environments at stores when it matched the brand colours at retail departments. As a ten year old child, our class at school taught us to use tin foil and closet hangers to fashion our own stylish metallic wreaths and then hang it on our doorstop for decorations.
Charlie Brown's Christmas special put an end to them.
I hope there wasn't a raccoon or squirrel 🐿️ on it when you took it home! 😂😂😂 I crack me up...
@Beckybooboo We have a little tree we sewt up in our kitchen. There is a little squirrel in it.

Yes, when I was a child, teachers had those aluminum trees in their classrooms in December.
They were allowed to have these trees because there was no fire hazard. And I remember the floodlight with the rotating color wheel to make the tree change from blue to green to yellow.
Yes I remember them but Mom always got a fresh green tree 🎄 for us.
Yeah on tv once. Thought it was a spoof on “festivus” but it’s apparently a thing in California.
I remember seeing those, including the color wheel that would slowly rotate and turn the tree different colors, but my family always had a real tree.
Ooh yes. Years ago, my folks had one. My dad made a color wheel for it, and got 3" magenta ornaments- flashy in its day.
I did not know. Interesting. But not a loss they are gone.

I've seen shimmery silver Christmas trees from a distance but I have no clue if they were made with aluminum.
Gosh yes I can remember them. My grandparents on mom's side had one as you described to the tee.
I have never seen one. If they were the rage in the 60s & 70s I am to young to remember them.
Only in charlie brown. Now i see folding reusable plastic trees. Seems smarter.
You posted a picture so I guess so. Outside of that, no I haven't ever seen one.
I've never seen one in person.. it looks interesting
We had one when I was small. I haven't seen one for many years.
Yes, and when we cut it down, I made an aluminum baseball bat out of the trunk.
I've never seen an aluminum tree but I did make a small copper one about ten years ago with scrap wire. Yeah I got bored one winter.
No, I have not its something out of his space movie did you enjoy reading my long debate last night

Yes I remember seeing them back in the day. They always seemed weird to me.
I haven't seen one of these things since the '80s
I feel I missed out on a lot of fun
