I know that dark-skinned girls can be beautiful. I saw some and i don't need models to prove that's true but i don't see this dark-skinned women in real life. I see more white women who look like the "pictures" that everyone is using to say "we are beautiful no matter what colour." And the funniest is that most dark-skinned people who are hot are also to high of themselves. That's what turning me off from black women in general.
Don't get me wrong because i can still date black women who are beautiful/lovely and not hood with criminal records. I don't have one so my girl can't have one. But mostly i get these type of women who are hitting on me. Then people saying that i'm not a real black man because i don't date black women.
I never talk about it but i know it. But the irony like @MrOracle says is that black people in the US mostly care. It's also a war between dark- and light-skinned people.
Well some how the younger generation has ended up being more judgmental when it comes to darker skin than the older generation from what I've seen with the guys comment which I find rather ironic.
I think all shades of women are beautiful with that being said I've seen many beautiful dark skinned women, I also noticed that you posted a picture of Kelly Rowland and in my opinion she is incredibly beautiful
Oh my god, I needed this because I am dark skinned and most guys don't look my way. Not only that, but I am the social opposite of most dark skinned girls so people take advantage of me. Thank you for posting this.
I do not know if it was only with me... A white guy liked me so much (For sex obviously) and I loved him but he wanted it to be discrete just because I was a bit brown and not super cheese white and blonde and blue eyed like him. He was like "I would like to own you but I do not want a relationship and this should not go public at all. Keep your love emotions out of it." The only thing I liked about him was that he was clear about it from first.
This>>>>>>>> I have a friend who's dark skin and she won't even sit in the sun at lunch with me because she's so afraid of getting darker. It's so sad :'(
I honestly feel that people need to ignore the supposed beauty "norms" that are out there. Yes, culture sometimes devalues darker women, but the media and equal rights activists love to remind us this and tell us that everyone thinks we're masculine and unattractive, which is a super hurtful thing to hear constantly. I think we'd all be happier if we didn't have to put ourselves into certain groups of having dark or light skin, and if we could just love ourselves for who we are.
i'm naturally darker skinned and love the beach which makes even MORE dark skinned. i haven't heard any of the negative things said to me or have felt that and i can't imagine having to feel that way about something you can't change. this take makes me appreciate the kind of society and family i grew up in, dark skin is a blessing and i wouldn't ask for anything else :D
I'm so do confused so even if your tan or light brown your considerd dark skin? I rarely get any treatment like that then, but I can understand why it happens to others or why they feel like that since light skin is seen as feminine in many cultures. It's even like this in kids movies like the lion kings where majority of the female lions are light and of course the bad character is dark.
I'll just say the preference for fair skin in some societies as existed even before colonial times. It has become even more exacerbated by technology, etc. that it's like the mentality becomes part of the DNA. It can be direct, but often subliminal as well.
It has taken me YEARS to convince my wife to use a makeup foundation that actually matches her complexion. She insists that one that matches her is "too dark". The tells her LOVELY daughters to stay out of the sun. She refuses to get any sun, because it would make her 85% cacao-toned skin even darker. Me, I love her darkness.
Cute take. Will just give my 2cents, the idea that some people can not see the beauty of dark women baffles me. We're so diverse, and once someone understands attraction and beauty are different things, it can only be ignorance.
People who use A race to describe themselves are not describing who they are as a person. They're human and each individual character department defines what I think of you not the color of your skin. But your name might have an effect how I feel about you. if I've had bad experiences with people with that name. Or that they might work the other way if you have someone named test given me popped positive experiences in my life I might think positive

Excellent take, its good to see more aware people on these issues. Keep on spreading self love!!! 👌🔥💯
All these women are drop dead gorgeous to me, I can't find the ugly something wrong with my eyes to me they are very gorgeous

That's nice... but there's no need for that to be told. ... everybody knows dark color is beautiful. .
Well, some people don't have respect for others, that would summarise all this take.
all those women you showed are very pretty why does society have to be so back-ass- wards?
Because people are stupid. .3.

It's sick that you were treated like a secret fetish instead of a person.
It surely is sick... However I believe I was stupid enough to let him do it.
Each skin color has its own beauty. Dark skin is beautiful, as the light skin.
you forgot Eugena Washington from americas next top model cycle 7
She is a 10/10. Even more attractive than Tyra Banks herself
and she isn't "ghetto" either
I don't watch America's Next Top Model so I wouldn't know about her. O- o If I make another myTake I'll be sure to look her up.
This>>>>>>>> I have a friend who's dark skin and she won't even sit in the sun at lunch with me because she's so afraid of getting darker. It's so sad :'(
Then this myTake is for her.
I'm dark skinned... and I thought I was unattractive for the longest time. This made me feel good about myself. Thank you. :)

Well if ur like Indian or Asian "dark" is more tan/brown, but if you're black, being a more chocolate type skin tone is what's considered "dark"...
This is a good take.
