In photographs, I look like a boiled gargoyle that's been floating down river for a few days.
In real life, I'm a pretty gargoyle.

Omg thanks for making this mytake! I feel so much better now because I know I'm not the only one! Whenever I take pics I look really really bad in them and then I look in the mirror and I'm like okay I look good but then I take a pic and it turns out horrible :/

Yeah, I know this - 90% of photos catch me frowning or generally looking like an angry mf - when I see myself in the mirror and when people comment there's this super cute picture - go figure...
Most pretty girls I know have never taken a bad picture. Some girls will always look cute no matter what they're doing, even crying or something.

Well, yes she is very gorgeous then. I wouldn't say most beautiful women in the world because then I'd have to do a lot of travel. But her eyes are striking.

When i take a selfie i look awful, but when someone else does i look great

Just get a telephoto lens or take the photo from a different angle or from farther away to negate the lense distortion.

I make it a point never to retake photos. Each one just looks worse than the one before even if they are just a day apart.
It's all about face shapes. It looks vastly different in 3d vs a flat shot which is how most pictures look. Even incredibly expensive cameras with different shaped lenses can make you look like a different person than a smartphone camera can.
A lot of the good pictures I take of myself are accidental lol.
I can't look good in a photo unless someone else takes it :( . I'd never trust an online photo above the real deal.
My cousin is prettier in the pic so she always takes 3-5 each day. We used to be very close until she takes selfies. She left me for that phone TT_TT

I look like a legit supermodel in the mirror and was even told I should model but look like a subhuman potato troll in pictures other people take of me it's really stunning. I do take good selfies though so I don't know what to believe lol.
