I like the face that they pull as I steal their parking spots. You don't need a fucking parking spot to pick up your kid Janet, 5mins? I need a spot for 5 hours I'm going to work, asshole.
Shame on everyone who said nothing. You should at least appreciate your moms.
😊😊
Not everyone grew up with a mother and not everyone had a great one either
@vashsoltek Very true.
My mom, I appreciate the fact that, no matter what she does, wether it's make me go to bed, do my homework, etc... It's always trying to make me better.
I appreciate my mom. She helped me become who I am. From her guidance she helped me become a better person. An open minded thinker. Responsibility, and is always there when I need help with something.
My mother who always took time out of her day to take care of me and my two brothers. She’s a hardworker and an inspiration for me. I also love her cooking. I wish I can meet enough women to say something positive about them in general tho.
My mom stayed in an unhappy marriage for years to shelter me from the horrors of watching your parents get divorced.
They have the ability to birth babies so that's cool I guess
Wanna birth my babies?
@Zayah hola bleh😜
My mother and fiance who died.
Perfection. Queens of my heart.
Without them I'd be nothing and nowhere.
I'm so grateful for my mother and my grandmother because they're supportive, loving, huge pain in my ass... And loving, caring... Hahah
How they tend to better be able to keep up with the kids' upcoming activities and plan birthday parties and stuff like that.
The one's that know me? Their patience if I were them I'd have thrown myself our by now.
The support and the fact my mom doesn't judge me and my choices. I may get an opinion but am not judged. Love has always been our bond.
The fact that women have tolerated so much shut for generations.
Shit *
Slowly but surely, times are/have been getting better.
@SuperFly805 not entirely good yet tbh
That sounds like almost all working class people
@livinglikelarry223 yeah. Must be so hard when working class people get burned alive for having a voice, shot for encouraging education, murdered by brother for being independent, beaten to death if come back home one minute late, aborted before birth. Yeah. Really hectic.
That sounds like third world country problems.
@livinglikelarry223 women in third world countries aren't women? And no lol what I listed was random things from different time periods ranging from a thousand years ago to the present day, not all of them necessarily in the so-called third world countries.
I didn't say that and those things you listed does not happen in the united states, ever... We do have homeless men however who are not accepted into shelters and are sleeping on side walks in inner cities. Everything is not as simple as women=oppressed and man=privileged try telling a mentally handicapped homeless man your story.
And as i remember plenty men in third world countries are living in poverty too. Who was helping the boys in africa when people were just talking about sex trafficking for girls when boys also had the same problem at high rates along with the organ market? Or the polio problem that killed 10 million kids a year including boys? People like bill gates understands that gender is not an issue to oppression in many places which is why most people respect what he has done. It doesn't matter if you are a girl suffering is suffering
@livinglikelarry223 did I ever say that men's suffering don't count. But accept the truth, men have been treated better in past and even in present. It's not that no one suffers. Everyone does it's inevitable. However the problems that you listed are not exclusive to women. And no one is saying that these don't exist.
Thats my point, these problems are not exclusive to women. Also saying men have been treated better in the past isn't true, its relative as different types of men werent treated better than women. Would you say an 8 hear old boy working in a factory who had to drop out of school got treated better than a female who belonged to the ford family? Would a man who was drafted into war against his will be considered to have more rights than a women? What about immigrant men? Black men and so on. You use the term men broadly. If you are talking about upper class men, which are a small minority then i can never accept your truth as my truth coming from a family of immigrant men who has lived in poverty all their life.
@livinglikelarry223 I am using the term in a sense that I'm talking about ordinary people. Ordinary people in a society or neighborhood or simple families.
And when i say poverty i mean dirt roads, dirty water, no heat, violence etc.. How can you say that men as a whole were treated better when this problem still continues today and men are being killed in places like syria iraq lybia etc.. At alarming rates? You do know who is the main victim to violence, right? Is that info expendable to you?
ordinary men have been drafted into wars, taken advantage of and so on. Actually, if you were a male but you werent the head of the house you couldnt even vote. I still can't vote without signing up for a draft. Ordinary men still are being shunned out by our education programs and domestic abuse programs. Ordinary men? What about the suicide epidemic? Yeah women suffer, but that issue is more important? Suffering is suffering to me.
@livinglikelarry223 and what if I tell you that feminists actual are against it? It as in stuff that even men go through? Expecting all men to take part in war, not giving importance to their feelings and emotions.
Regarding war, well I do find it unfair to force men to join war. And who said that you can't speak up for those men? You do!
Meanwhile where I live girls go through a lot more shit than boys do, and I want this to come to an end. Or am I not supposed to empower women only because men have it hard too?
Where are you from
@livinglikelarry223 is it necessary?
Kinda
@livinglikelarry223 you can check my profile.
Sigh...
@livinglikelarry223 did you get your answer?
Nope
@livinglikelarry223 Ok, I'm from Bangladesh.
The best thing would be giving birth to someone like me lol
My sisters ~ i admire their strength and determination through hard times.
Loyalty. They are loving, caring. They support me...
my fostermom, she put me back on track as i was losing my shit
My mom , she’s one of the most patience , most loyal mom
They are great listeners. If I ever have a problem, I talk to my female friends about it before any of my male friends
My mom is an extremely respectable person who's done a lot for various different people or groups of people in her life.
I sometimes see my mom n my sis n think, "wat did I ever do to them to recieve this much care n love?"
The different perspective on things, the girls I see as my best friends are very down to earth and calm. They give me the best advice when my head is going wild.
A couple of things
Women's beauty is from within. That is what shines through and can grab a Man's soul and don't forget that.
@SuperFly805 promise tonight when I'm balls deep I will think of you and your wise words.
who is that?
My mother is a soldier! Otherwise I think this whole praise women day, which is in praise women month is rather unnecessary. #LoveEveryday
Theyre all my “best friend” and im like a brother to them all! Sooooo lucky...
I work with a wonderful lady.
She has helped me and been so supportive. I call her my work mum.
Bonding. It's great to have someone to laugh and spend time with.
The way she make me see no life... she help me find a new wae to live
the only woman i have in my life is my mother, and i love her a lot
She is like a mirror for me. When I look at her I can understand things about myself.
Nurturing personality coupled with fragility is beautiful to me
How comforting it is to have them helping me with things. I tend to talk to them bettter than guys.
Me too a lot of the time.
My mom is the women who always cared for me... sometimes she scolds me but I love her so much she fulfills all my wishes... she is really great
It's nice to have someone to talk with, spend time with.
She was a very understanding significant other , I really cherish her for that.
My grandmother and my mother are incredibly helpful and kind.
When she's being kind and gentle to anyone around I think that's the most attractive part.
Love and caring as a family and I appreciate their body as a female
There support, love, understanding, incredible strength.. what i appreciate the most is there women and great human beings
I love my mom, she is a very strong lady and she is my only strength, without her I am nothing, she is my motivation.
didn't we already have a womens day this year? Who is in charge of this? Im going to make a mens day
"International Men's Day (IMD) is an annual international event celebrated on 19 November. Inaugurated in 1992 on 7 February by Thomas Oaster.[1] The project of International Men's Day was conceived one year earlier on 8 February 1991.[2] The project was re-initialised in 1999 in Trinidad and Tobago.[3] The longest running celebration of International Men's Day is Malta, where events have occurred since 7 February 1994." From Wikipedia, not so original
I actually know of this, and its NOT in my country, the united states. So yeah, it would be original. Now do me a favour and go be invisible from my notifications smarty pants
And when i mean its not in my country, i mean its not celebrated nationally like womens day has been. I won't speak for other countries but here, nobody cares about no damn mens day
Well, I don't think that a lot of people understand the importance of equality and not do something to avoid complaining. Equality is being equal. I mean, every year the informations and statistics about domestic violence/omicide/gender discrimination pop up firing up discussions over discussions but no one talks about the thing also men get harassed, raped, beaten and so on. Most of them don't even know, because "men are supposed to be strong". What! Machismo caused a general mistaking in educating kids about genders and how they "should be". No one has to be strong, and really no one has to come out with flowers that day because women have to be protected from violence👐🏻
What I mean is that we take the whole thing wrong and that really sometimes the whole "gender" problem is that we don't know really how to open our minds enough to educate freely our children. I am from Italy, that comments itself. The situation is probably even twice worst, even though we are 1/5 wide as California
I am sorry for telling you to be invisible from my notifications. Being on this site kind of gives me a defensive mentality where i think everyone here is trying to undermine other outlooks. What do you mean italy is worse by the way?
I mean that USA have made their way about this things, you try to change, to be progressive and tolerant in your complex. In Italy such a normal way to treat things is not completely possible every time. We have (my shame to have to say we) the closest mind as possible, fixed roles, even patriarchal way of thinking about families. Afraid to talk about sex of every genre to our kids, homophobic. Do I have to continue? In few words, you have to be in their "skimming " and if so you are welcome, beautiful, the best. If you are not, in some families you can also be discriminated or rejected. That's an absurdity.
That sounds messed up you ever thought about moving from there?
Hell yes, even though I would miss my parents and family but Italy gives me no choice. I think it is the first and hope last state that prizes common workers in the industries than designers/creators because they don't use their hands. Even studying is of no point.
I am just finishing my degree and I will see how it turns. One of our possible prime minister said not before than 6 months ago that men and women that leave the state hoping for a better solution are only cowards. I leave to you the considerations.
Eh, who cares what the prime minister thinks you wouldn't want your kids growing up somewhere like that if you had any.
Shared activities, when we do hangout or go to the movies and explore etc
No woman wants to be in my life. So I can at least appreciate their smarts.
Why a woman does not like everything that a man loves, even though she is smart
I appreciate that they never refuse you for anything. They loving u much more than u.
Aside from my mother who I don't have in my life because she is batshit crazy.
All women in my life have vagina's that I can put my penis in.
*(Other than that... I don't have women in my life.)
Their love, support, cooking skills, friendship.
My mom because she is always there for me.
My mum - she raised us all by herself.
The support, guidance, and love they offer.
<3
That they're not in my life. No joke. I appreciate the hell out of that.
The votes are satisfying as hell. I mean that. The more they vote like that, the safer I am. 100 percent.
Their sense of humour.
She loves me through thick and then cold or hot rich or poor sick or well life or death.
