Do you watch Suits? I do! After 7 seasons, every character in the show has won the special fan crowd and I became Rachel's; because she is tough, idealist, trustful, determined, whatever you want a young woman to be.

Recently, Megan Markle (Rachel Zane of Suits) is always on the front page of papers. Megan and the favorite royal family member Prince Harry is officially engaged. After this huge event, everybody who has no idea who Rachel Zane was, went online and searched Megan Markle. I made a special investigation about her as well and want to share the findings on this myTake. Let's start to know deeper about the new member of British Royal Family.

Her Future in Suits

Her contract with Suits producer is up by the end of the 7th season. So, Rachel Zane may not be a part of this popular TV series anymore. According to the internal sources, Megan Markle's special position seems like an obstacle to renew her contract. Then, get prepared to watch Suits without Rachel's presence.

Her Real Name

What a bizarre coincidence! Her real first name is Rachel just same as the character in Suits. She started to use her middle name Megan since a while ago. Nobody knows the exact reason, but she told that she was gradually replacing her real life with the Rachel's character in Suits. So, we can say that she wants to be herself again and using her middle name is the clear evidence.

The Parents

Her parents used to be a part of TV industry as well. Her father and mother met at the legendary TV show Married With Children set. Her father was the light director of the set and her mother was a temporary worker at the set.

The Tig

Rather than being a TV star, Meghan had a blog named The Tig. She was blogging about fashion, food, travel, and beauty on The Tig. Unfortunately, she decided to shut down the site in early 2017 due to her role in Suits.

Love Harry and trust his judgement. My first thoughts on the couple over a year ago was, "my, she looks like Kate".

Simply because I know he adores Kate Middleton immensely as a sister or family member.

I love the show Suits and am so happy Meghan/Rachel will get to be a princess. She is so beautiful and smart and charitable as well as quite the fashionista with her lifestyle blog Tig, http://thetig.com which just closed down. She'll be perfect. The first American accepted to the British throne ever.
You missed one interesting fact regarding Meghan and Rachel.
On the show she is the daughter of a mixed race couple. Her father Richard Zane is black and her mom Laura white. In real life, Meghan Markle was also raised in a mixed race family only her mother is black and her father is white.

You can only call yourself a princess or have that title if you're born of royal blood, which neither are. And only the queen can make you a princess... which she probably never will.

As someone already mentioned, technically she is not and will not be a princess - unless she actually married Prince Charles.

The wife of Prince William is also not a princess, but a duchess.
Perhaps Rachel will gain such a title after getting married.

I don't have anything against her nor so I know her, although I never really liked her character on Suits.
Considering the monarchy rules though, I'm almost sure she would not have been allowed to marry into the family a few years back. And well, I guess the chances of Prince Harry becoming a king are zero, so he's allowed to enjoy his life from the sideline.

She wouldn't be a princess even if she married Charles. Camilla Parker Bowles isn't a princess... she's a duchess. You can only be a princess if you're born of royal blood. Or the Queen makes you one - like she did with Prince Philip.

Meghan will become a duchess when married. Probably the duchess of Sussex.

Princess of Wales because she's married to the Prince of Wales - Charles. It's a title. She's not actually a princess. And if she divorced Charles she'd no longer be one. Princess is the title as she's married to the Prince of Wales - Harry hasn't got that title, he will probably be the Duke of Sussex.

I think girls and women are drawn to this because of the whole, she's now a princess. As a guy, I personally don't care, my goals are to finish law school, make a difference in this world for the greater good, helping others, having strong faith in God. I will say this, Prince Harry and Prince Williams are two good men who deserve happiness and Megan Markel is a lucky woman to have a good career in the Hollywood industry and be in the royal family is an honor.

But you're talking to a guy who is still single and has been rejected, left-right-center and I almost feel like if I can't measure up to a girl's high expectations (i. e: being a prince, making $500,000+/year, being 6ft7 and the looks of Christiano Ronaldo) I just don't care anymore about relationships and weddings. @Blonde401 I'm afraid that's not entirely true. People don't go to the uk to actually visit the royal family. They visit the places connected to the royal family. Even if there were no royal family anymore, those places would continue to exist and attract tourists. They would turn into museums and they could potentially attract even more visitors than today as one might actually be allowed inside many places that are off limits now.
An example is France. Have you ever been to the Versailles? The line for entering the palace goes a few times around the block.
Another example is Austria. Belvedere in vienna is a museum with so many people trying to get inside that it takes at least an hour standing in line just to get to the ticket booth.
Those places bring in a considerable amount of money without a royal family's expenses.
