Men get killed in divorce court, and I don't know why I'd want to give up all the sex I get now to be with one woman. I love women, but I want to be able to get p*ssy from whomever I find attractive at the moment. Marriage isn't for guys (or girls) like me.

Money and allocation of assets during divorce. Add a child into the mix, and you're stuck paying child support for at least 18 years.
A friend of mine got divorced, and judge made him pay ex-spouse alimony (i. e. 50% of sizeable pension) for rest of his life until she re-married. Guy had to work temp job for 4 years just to pay for medical/dental bills-he quit after she re-married. Fortunately, no child support-kids were grown up.
I voted yes to marriage... I would do it again someday! Not ready yet though!
I've been married before, widowed, I'm a mother, I'm grandmother. Right now I'm enjoying a selfish life. Maybe someday I'll settle again but not anytime soon. I've got a bucket list.
Being married is very difficult. It's not so much the routine of taking care of someone. It's a lot of fielding disagreements and being blind to their faults.
I don't wanna get married because relationships and marriage would be hard for me so that's why I like being single because I get to do my own thing and plus because I'm specilneeds with mental health I would have a hard time with relationships

I personally want to be married and settle down one day. Most guys who don't want to get married are typically delusional high schoolers or fraternity members anyway. That's just what I have observed where I live, it may differ for other people.

I don't like couples who r always telling each other what to do n bossing each other around n not giving any freedom. A smart woman would let the man have some freedom, n not try to tie him down like a pair of shoe strings. Unless he proves he's untrust worthy there is no reason not to trust him, I mean he's ur husband. N he will love u all the more for not being a nosey selfish bitch, people need some space. Simply as that he needs his freedom, I ain't gonna marry some one who takes away my freedom.
N I wouldn't expect a man to marry me if I tried to take all his freedom away.
That is why you live wih someone for more than a year before you even think about getting married because then you know what both of you are like when you are within close proximity with someone. That way you have time to see whether she is bossy, lazy, mentally unstable etc . You should really know that before you get married.

Because being with one woman rest of your life is not sounds good if you couldn't live your sexuality for enough. Also if the man got many pains because of love, this might be broken his desire to being married.
I want to get married someday I don't see any major problems with it. I just want to appear attractive to the woman who chooses me. My wish is that we never fight and if we do fight its because we don't want the other one to get hurt.

In what way do men look at the glass as half empty? Most men have stated that the potential risks are greater than the potential rewards. So far, no female has been able to effectively rebut that stance.
For one I don't believe in the legal system and think things can get skewed out of my favor.
Second, I don't plan on meeting my perfectly desired woman any time soon, so I think it's dumb to dedicate my life to anything less.

Why do people WANT to get married?
I think it's the whole thought of being that 'other half' to another person. The thought of being so valuable to another person, who will die by your side, care for you while your ill, scratch your back, be there for you during any emotional breakdown, somebody who will go through hell and back with you, and basically be there for you when no one else will, etc.
Although marriage in the near future doesn't sound appealing at all to me, the benefits of someone constantly being there for me does sound pretty f*cking awesome.
As a married person, I can tell you why my husband and I wanted to get married. I can't speak for everyone but our reasons were:
1. We love eachother so much that we wanted to share the rest of our lives together. Just living together wasn't worthy of how much we love eachother (that was how WE felt) so we really wanted a beautiful ceremony in a church.
2. His family hadn't seen him for a long time, so we decided to get married in Italy (where his family lives) and give them a great party. A wedding and honeymoon was the perfect excuse.
3. We're catholic, which means that we wanted to receive the sacrament of marriage. Which is basically the same as number one but since we're pretty serious about our faith I thought I'd include that reason as well.
That's what I wonder too. It's a complete waste of time.
Too much politics and bureaucracy involved, for one.
