I would think that a polygamous marriage is not about love but about power, control and money. i've heard of polygamous husbands cracking the ribs of their wives during fights by hitting her really hard and I've heard of polygamous men who marry 12 or 16 year old girls and get them pregnant before they reach adulthood. It goes by the principle that some are not equal to others and not everybody needs to be equally satisfied in the relationship which is a dangerous way to think.

There are more women than men, and for a Muslim guy, the very concept of a woman not being controlled by a man makes them want to vomit, so they take more than one wife.

  You're not based on rationality. It is rational for a man to have many wives if he can financially provide for them all. Is it not better than some girls having no man at all? Not my cup of tea personally LOL but I don't think it's that wrong.

  Yeah, there's a reason for it, and it's better that way I agree. I am simply arguing that it is based on rationality, which it is, because it is rational for a man to have many wives if he can afford to support them, which is what islamic law states. Make no mistake, I am not a fan of islam...
