Why do Musllims only tend to marry other Muslims?

Question

Just curious about that. I hardly ever see Persians marrying non persians, or Indians, same thing. Is the same religion THAT much of a big deal or deal breaker? What if a Muslim was attracted to a white or black person? What if they were attracted to an Asian person but their religion mis matched? ! Or yeah, they were attracted to a white person and was compatible with them in (almost) EVERY aspect except for religion.

I just don't get it? Is Interracial Marriage and Dating heavily frown upon amogst Middle Eastern cultures? ! Pardon my ignorance!

.. Or is it just confirmation bias on my part? Thoughts?

Because Qur'an prohibits Muslims from marrying people of other religions. Also, race isn't a matter of concern for Muslims as long as other person is a Muslim. I'll quote a relevant Hadith below.

Ahmad (22978) narrated from Abu Nadrah: Someone who heard the khutbah of the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the second of the days of at-Tashreeq told me that he said: “O people, verily your Lord is One and your father is one. Verily there is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab or of a non-Arab over an Arab, or of a red man over a black man, or of a black man over a red man, except in terms of taqwa. Have I conveyed the message?” They said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has conveyed the message."

That being said, Islam heavily focuses on it being the truth and the final message from God to human kind and what's unchanged till today so everyone who follows Islam as per Islam, is properly guided and hence they are allowed to marry the believers. For the disbelievers, it isn't so. Islam governs every small aspect of life from coming and going out of the washroom to eating, clothing, drinking and sitting while eating habits. Of course there are rules for marriage as well which a Muslim should follow.

Mostly because their faith forbids it, and honestly Islam is very much incompatible with most other religions or those who dont practice religion.

Muslim man can have 10 millions white, black and yellow girlfriend before marriage and can marry whoever they want, but their women aren't allowed to marry outside their culture and dating before marriage this leads often to exclusion of being a part of family.
Of course there is pressure on boys to marry a Muslim woman, with tested virginity. Boys living in west Europe can forget to get a virgin anyway even among Muslim girls and I don't really know what Allah thinks about hymen reconstruction surgeries. Maybe it's like with alcohol, when you drink alcohol beneath a roof, Allah doesn't see it and it's not a sin. lol

Generally their terror cult if filled of contradictory hypocrisy and I wouldn't seek any sense in it.

Maybe it's because they have to follow their religion's rules. Or perhaps it's because they would have more common with someone who is also a Muslim.

I believe Muslim families are very tight knit, it may come down to language barriers and religion/belief system. It is much easier if the boyfriend or girlfriend speaks their language and has the same belief system Speaking the language makes it easier to convey their background and intentions to the person's parents. The same belief system ensures the person will worship the same and attend the same church. It's not that they're trying to avoid seeing other people, it is just convenient if the person speaks the same language and has the same religion/beliefs as your entire family.

Because people want to build families with the values and beliefs that they have. I'm a Catholic and when I was single, I wanted to date, court, and marry a Catholic woman.

If you marry someone who has the same beliefs as you, that's a major thing you won't have contentions over. Sure, you may have different opinions where it is allowed, but by and large, it's a headache no one has to endure. Plus, the children are more likely to continue practicing their faith beyond their childhood if both parents are committed themselves. And having children is the main objective of marriage.

Well if I'm not mistaken, women have to marry another Muslim in their religion, I'm sure many wished they didn't but they do according to their religion and I don't think race has anything to do with it cause I've seen black Muslims, I've seen Hispanic Muslims, etc and again, if I'm not mistaken I think they can marry any race as long as it's within their religion, what I always found mind-blowing tho is that Muslim men don't have to follow this, they can marry outside of religion I think

Do you truly believe that an average Whiteman in Mississippi gets really thrilled about his daughter who has fallen in love with a black guy?

Do you really think a "Religious" Jewish mom or dad gets happy when their son or daughter introduces them to his/her new partner, a Muslim?

Muslims aren't a race, it's a religion. Anyone can be Muslim and I think a Muslim is only allowed to marry another Muslim as part of their faith so if they're not both already part of it then someone has to convert or leave their faith behind

It might depend upon the specific sect and how closely one adheres to it. I had an acquaintance from Nigeria, and is his view he could marry a woman who was Muslim, Christian, or Jewish, but his sisters could only marry another Muslim.

If the individual adheres to the culture, then they would marry within that culture. If they lean more towards individualism, then they will marry for love, regardless of the others background.

I think it’s common for people to marry people from the same religion in general, no? I see that with most religions, maybe less so with Christians.
