When you find someone that you truly love, you won’t care what kind of throng they give you. As long as they want to be with you, you’ll love whatever they pick out.
I'd say hell no but their still libel to see one they like better. When a man picks it they seem to have more attachment to it and less likely to forget the bond it represents
Yes. The ring bonds the two of you and it's his symbolic gesture to you that he has to pay for. I'd be stressed AF if the girl was choosing out of my pay area because you can't just say "No I can't afford that".
@morimeme1 It's not just about the money. It's about knowing you've made the right decision and chosen a symbol of your dedication. Real talk a marriage can end days after the wedding and he's making a decision factoring those ideas in
I don't get what that has to do with choosing the rings collectively, I sure would like to have some say in what am I putting on my finger for the rest of my life.
My girlfriend picked a few out a few months ago maybe a year ago that I saved. So I will choose one of those. I would much rather that, than pick one on my own.

I would expect her to be involved in choosing the ring. I would not give her carte blance, as I might not be able to afford what she wants.
I would feel offended and call off the engagement
But that just has to do with my mom picking things out for me and family
Im not trying to marry my mom
I’d like to give him hints as to the style “engagement” ring I’d prefer but we’d pick the “wedding” rings together.

That's the point..
If wedding..
If your partner can go in shop and from whole bunch of 100 rings can pink the ring that you will pick.
That means you are ready for wedding..
Wedding... ring?
I think it's time to say "thank you" if she wanted to enslave me with marriage.
I don't want to choose it. The only advice I'd give is I don't want it to be too big so it doesn't get in the way.

You should be able to talk about finances if you two are getting married lol 😂

Ungreatfull bitch needs to be happy someone is willing to give their resources to her
I would like to pick my own as I would have to wear it for the rest of my life 😅
I would take her to any place she wanted to go to pick it out
Sire pick out what you want. Niether I or my wife wear wedding rings. We find them pointless and a waste of money
I’m never getting married so this will never be a problem if she wants to buy herself a ring that’s chill
Isn't it better to choose them together?
To begin a marriage by making separate decisions makes me wonder if it makes sense to marry at all.
Absolutely not. I would want her to go with me to pick it out. She's the one who will be wearing it.
Lol your too young to think about this!!
But yes, a wedding ring.. is a token of his love for you. He should be able to choose, and not be judged on it.

More relieved. I don't do jewellery or clothing or anything like that.
A red flag for me. It's fucking stupid and undermines the value of exchanging rings.
