Girls, If someone were to tell you that modern day marriage was akin to a form of slavery, how would you react?

There are honestly 2 factors I've considered in this. The first is that i could probably replace the diamond ring and the words "Will you marry me" with a dog collar and the words "Will you be my master" and very little if any context would be lost. And that in many many cases, there is little if any difference between dealing with your average woman and a preteen child, from mentality, to entitlement, right down to the fact that having sex with them will likely get you landed in jail.
