    Yes, I believe so

These are the main traits that describes me:

    - Family oriented and not into parties nor clubs. If I promise something then I'm doing it ASAP. I tend to talk less and do more.

    - I like navigating through the kitchen and try new recipes. This applies for both foods and desserts. You never stop learning. There is more to create. I have no problems inviting a good person my food. I'm trying to grow a food business to be honest.

    - My other passion is martial arts. I'm currently 8 months into Judo. It makes me display my rough, inner side. Even if I'm losing during sparring, many times I tend to continue for longer than usual and take advantage of possible open spaces. I just don't give up easily. It's a good sport for reducing stress too.

    - I'm not into casual sex nor cohabitation. I've never done those two things. So when will I live with a man? Just live with him and let him get all the benefits for free without commitment? In your dreams. I'm not living with you until you propose and marry me. That's the only way I'll live with him. I want a husband, not a boyfriend.

Depends on the guy for me. The next guy has to be really understanding and different from the past guys I have dated for me to consider getting myself into marriage mode. As of right now, no guy has stood out to me to the point where I would consider getting out of my current routine

I believe it's better this way, it wouldn't be fair if you gave people lots of your time and effort when they aren't worth the time and effort, it's only fair and understandable, I don't know you well but you seem like you have morals and great values and I believe you'd make a good catch, there's good men out there, I think patience is just what's required to find these good people, I wish you the best on your search tho 💯

Yes in all ways, but no, I am not marriage material because I don't see the point anymore.

I have a great job, cars and house is all paid off, goes on crazy vacations, has a big retirement forming, and I like to tell jokes and I always have conversations ready being a kind of news junky.

But I have been married before and know what it really takes. It's hard work. There are a lot of hard times.

I also have my kids, so I am not needing to procreate.

I like being able to just get up and do anything. I love adventure and trying new foods, and new restaurants.

I love being clean, but I don't mind being dirty, love to dress to the 9's and I like to romance at times. But not all the time.

I was never interested in having kids. Even though I had girlfriends from the time I was 16, I didn't even start thinking about finding a life partner and settling down until I was in my mid-30s. All along the way, I kept improving myself.

I finally met a particular woman when I was 40. We got married when I was 42. She's 2.5 years younger than me. We've been happily married now for over 25 years and have built a wonderful life together.

So it took me a while to become marriage material, but I seem to have done well. :-)

Nah lol. I can't strike up a proper convo with my crush and I'm more of a workaholic and working person. However I can write pretty good romantic poems. It may make me look like a romantic person but... trust me I'm more of the depressing poems I write.

    Yea, I think so.
I can cook (he will be fed very well), I can clean, sew/mend clothes, and I can also listen if he needs a listening ear. I am also able to communicate how I feel most of the time, and I don’t mind compromising. If we have the money, I would love to stay at home, so that I can raise the children, and I could work on the side (a small business).

I know how I'll sound when I say it but whatever...
As long as there's no toxic family members testing my boundaries I'll be chill with my husband on everything and say goodbye to semi-luxurious/semi-poor single days and work in managing housework and cooking but he better not think I don't have my bad days once I snap on him I only give out facts about our daily lives that I'm calculating because the relationship of husband and wife is union so we're on this for as far as we can. He can refute that I didn't complain so he thought I don't mind but there's no way I'm believing it all just because I'm in a emotional moment

Yes. I think I'm a hell of a catch for a partner. The problem is, I'm short, ugly, and no living (hetero) woman in existence would agree with me. I still think I'm a great catch though, even if no woman does. I've just stopped caring what other people think of me though.

most American men and women do not make decent husband / wives.

If they were so amazing at being spouses, why does their divorce rate sit at 50%.

We have one of the highest divorce rates in the world. is that something you're proud of?

i would never marry an American

I'm going for an Indian man / arraigned marriage right now. Because the reality is loyalty and arranged marriages are ingrained part of their culture. US divorce rate sits at 50% while india's divorce rate sits at 4%. You might look down on arraigned marriages, but they have a track record of success. While US marriages have a track record of failures. There is really no point of getting married if you're gonna get divorced in 6 years, which is pretty much the classic typical US marriage.

Americans do not have family values or loyalty.

Americans are always looking for something better. Their mentality is that "she needs to be the right perfect one or otherwise I will never commit to her". During marriage their mentality is "the next woman will always be better than the last". There will always be someone better than the last.

Have a few problems with your wife? blow it out of proportion. Instead of making things better, try to make things worse. After all it seems like the problem is just that you've married the wrong woman. Instead of focusing on her good qualities and all she has done for you, you should focus on all her flaws, which will just make the problem even worse. Then when you explode , you can just divorce her. The kids are second priority. Your happiness is first priority. Now you can go tell your kids that they need to pick between dad or mom, they can't have both.

American men simply aren't loyal. They're always looking for the perfect woman in a perfect marriage. If your current wife is not perfect, there will always be a perfect woman waiting for you out there. You cannot have this type of mentality if you're trying to go for a successful marriage. There is no such thing as a perfect woman in a perfect marriage.

one thing that you also need to be wary about is the number of foreign immigrants who would marry a US citizen for a green card / permanent residency here. I have met an indian guy who just wanted to marry me for a green card and trust me, there isn't a shortage of those in the US.

American women aren't any different. Notice that in vast majority of western marriages, when a couple encounters problems, it never gets better but it only gets worse. Its because western couples see marriage as a romantic joy ride. They just have such high expectations of marriage and when their high expectations aren't met. They get disappointed. They think marriage is always supposed to be happy, minimal fights, no misery.

Just think about your relationship with your parents or siblings, had it always been happy? NO! There are months where you've hated your parents. You've gotten into terrible nasty long fights with your siblings. why would a marriage be any different? when you stick two people together, there will always be fights. Everyone has flaws.

In other countries, people take marriage seriously as a union where two people care for each other forever. In the US, marriage is a romantic joy ride. When the joy ride goes wrong, thats when they stop caring for each other.

You are very insightful. I wish you find that man who will work with you and change with you through good times/challenge times and grow together through our never ending changes of our societies. Whatever his background.

I understand the Indian culture. Are you also Indian background? If you are not, then you will not be in an arranged marriage, am I correct?

I'm not of Indian background. I am of Chinese descent, born and raised in America. The difficult part about seeking an arraigned marriage with an indian man is that vast majority of these them prefer marrying within their own race and culture. Marrying outside race and culture is untraditional and might clash with old fashioned matriarchs / patriarchs (grandmas / grandpas), whom they look up to dearly.

Indians tend to have very strong family values. They respect, love and appreciate their parents , grandparents. This is why I have so much faith into marrying an indian family. I can trust that my husband's family will always be there for me whenever I need help. I have faith that I will get their support. Indian families like to stick together. You don't see the same thing with American families. Everything about American family values is OPTIONAL. This means that your parents are really not obligated to do anything for you once you are past 18. There is no incentive to stick together. In fact, vast majority of American kids barely ever visit their parents after they move out, unless if its asking for money.

Friendships / relationships have eroded in the US over the past 30 years. Nowadays, I'm finding that most friendships never last more than 1-2 years. Folks in their 20-30s are very emotionally available and unreceptive to developing new genuine friendships. When I try to make a conversation with them, they're always texting on their phones or acting as if I am disturbing them. Or even if I were in a conversation with them, I just have this gut feeling that their souls are not fully invested into the conversation. I feel like I only have half their attention.

When I talk to older people in their 40s+, I can feel that they are genuinely invested into hte conversation. They're fully present. Its the advent of social media that has really ruined relationsihps.
Young people don't feel the need to connect on individuals they see on a daily basis because they are always hooked onto sical media texting their best friends 30 miles away. why would you go out of your way to talk to someone, if you already are on the phone with your best friend?

I get very sad whenever I would try to enjoy a conversation with a millennial but then they're only talking to me because they want to gain something from me. They aren't interested in getting to know me or enjoy the conversation or have a laugh. YET people say that millenials / gen z are the loneliest generations. why wouldn't this be the loneliest generation if nobody cares to connect with others?

Even when I try to make friends with other girls, nobody seems to ever have the incentive to stick to meeting up with each other every week in order to develop a friendship / bond. Its so hard to maintain friendships. People dump you any time they see someone better. Its the same for dating / marriage. Americans always believe there is someone better out there. Eventually I just want someone steady that I can rely on for life. I'm really not interested in rotating boyfriends or husbands every few years. I want to marry someone that I can trust that they will be there for me until the end. Its a lot of security and safety to a relationship like that.

But I think have some good traits as I´m said to be a good listener, I prefer giving a massage over receiving it, I know how to cook and I like doing it, I also know how to clean and I can live on my own without being messy.

I was marriage material when he proposed over 20 years ago, and we’re still married. If something were to happen to him and I was a widow or heaven help me divorced, I’d like to think that I still have some qualities that the opposite sex would be interested in. I’m not sure that I would get married again, but I think both of us do the best we can to provide a happy home.

I belive I am , even most girls say so to me. It's one of the reason I don't want to get married soon and have a negative image of it. May be it will change in future or not.

I have lived along in most of my life. I do charity and volenteer work, study and have many creative hobbies, can cook and clean perhaps better than most people.

However , never had luck in dating , girls see me as a guy whom they wanna settle later in live but around my age the want only fun guys (even they said it to my face) .

Amazing husband material, but I'm not ready for that shit

I'm already approaching 30. The last thing I need is to be married and lose the last little bit of the wild fun loving rascal I've been my entire life

    I hate getting older

I think I am but I don’t think anyone else does. A lot of friends with benefits and fuck buddies tell me I’m hot and amazing and unfortunately not the kind of girl they bring home. It hurts hearing about their girlfriends later. How they’re not as pretty, not as sexually adventurous, not as easy going and still knowing they’d rather be with them. I’m just the one they fuck

Generally, the kind of women that have casual sex are not the kind that men want for long term relationships. However, the kind of guys that have casual sex are likely to cheat on their SO in the future so they don't make good partners either.

Why did you decide to have casual sex in the first place?
You don't think it should have been something special shared only with someone that you care about and they care about you?

Yes I do, I’m easy to get along with, I’m cuddly, I’m happy to clean. I’m well read, I don’t have a lot of unsolved baggage, and I’m generally pretty honest.

Yes, I am a good provider and a good husband and father. I am completely faithful to my wife and I would never think of doing her physical harm or any other kind of harm for that matter

I would be if divorce laws were equitable. As they stand now, marriage is the bet that the other will not blow up your life on a whim. I have no interest in giving half of everything and in paying lifetime support to someone who cheats on me.

@Subarugirl A Judge can nullify one for any reason or no reason. This happens a lot.

@msc545 actually no they can't actually nullify a prenup for no reason, and I doubt nullifications happen nearly as often as you are implying.
The most common grounds to dissolve a prenuptial agreement include coercion or duress, unconscionability, and failure to disclose. The courts will generally enforce prenuptial agreements; however, when one or more of these grounds exist, the court may see fit to void all or parts of a prenup. So long as a prenup is done correctly and legally, there wouldn't be an issue...

@Subarugirl A Judge can create a reason. Unless the man wants to file an appeal ($$$$$) he is stuck with his rights being violated by the court. I know - I've been in that situation.

@Subarugirl Yes, and it was invalidated because the court felt it was "unfair" to my ex even though she had previously agreed to it and signed it.

@Subarugirl How about you don't tell me what I did or did not do right when you actually have no fucking idea?

I didn't write the prenup - my lawyers did, and nobody decided it wasn't drafted or executed properly. My ex simply changed her mind and the Judge went right along with that. I could not afford to appeal at that point or I would have.

With the divorce laws heavily favoring women and essentially trashing men, a man has to be suicidal to get married.
