So, the love union is there long before the marriage. You can have the marriage bond of love without marriage, and some people who are bound outside of marriage you can argue are stronger, because there is no legal requirement... they could walk away at any given time, but they are not.

So yes, the official marriage papers are a legally binding business deal. Bottom line that is all its. It's the right to claim the tax right off, and for you take 50% of everything you want from each other in divorce. Getting married legally speaks nothing towards the love you have, it essentially you sign over 50% ownership rights and property protection under the law, to your net worth and any future investments. Even when the love bond weakened and breaks, that legal requirement is still strong and whole.

Modern day divorce laws, undermine the values and ethics of legal marriage. You do not have to love, honor or cherish anymore to claim you rights to your half of the empire, even when you didn't do 50% of the work or investment in blood, sweat and tears to achieve it. You just rode along on the curtails, and achieved maximum benefit, while not living up to any of your love promises.

Marriage is a Business deal or contract that entails financial, mental, emotional, and physical connection. These fluctuate, change, and range from nonexistent to constant in same Time (marriage) and same place (Marriage). Ultimately, it is an arrangement between the two and their Creator, God. It is a Contractual Obligation above all in which you are stuck and to remain in even when there are behavioral imperfections.

    Both.

    Love, duh.

Not business between each other as it's often depicted (with prenups and the like - I find that cold), but the ability to create a business together, build a legacy for future kids. Having something to leave behind us. Becoming business partners.

It was suppose to be about love, union. Partnership, teamwork but sadly that's all changed. God is not the head of most marriages and relationships these days.

Depends on the person. Some don’t want to marry for love. Which is their business if they’re honest with each other.

Some for love. I suppose it’s somewhat of both. You should be trying to find love though not money.

I am not a hopeless romantic; I am a hopeful romantic! I think love should be an agreement of two people to share all that they have - bodes, minds, and souls - for the rest of their lives.

Both , you and your partner should be as one , you and your spouse VS the world , making each other your number 1 priority , removing selfishness for each other and resisting temptation for each other , working together to keep a roof over your head, food in your mouth clothes on your back , Being supportive of each other , and having each other’s back without prioritizing someone else over
Your partner. Love will grow , if you can’t do that for your partner then your marriage will not last making you a selfish person

People make marriage a business union. People make marriage about love. But marriage was not establish for those reasons. It was established for the purpose of raising a family. Love is just a by product of marriage.

One can love some one but that person that they love, may be the wrong person fro them to raise a family with.

When marrying some one, one has to look out for signs that indicate that their potential wife or husband, would make a good mother or father and good wife or husband. One has to look for signs of responsibility and accountability in that person. But above all, one should also be prepared to be the person that their partner will look at as responsible and accountable and have all the qualities required to make a marriage work.

Just because you love some one, doesn't mean if you marry them, your marriage will be successful.

Marriage as a business partnership is just a waste of space. It is a waste of time and it is shallow.

I see it as a love-union. I really am put-off by the idea of a marriage as a business partnership, or putting anything like that sort of face-on-it. But I think what's important is that two people see it THE SAME WAY as one another. It's only a problem if two people getting married disagree on exactly what kind of arrangement they mean when they talk about 'marriage'.

I see it as I love Union / lifetime commitment to best-friendship. I suppose in a manner of speaking it could be seen as a business partnership as well, but that would kind of be stretching it in my opinion.

I don't know how laws are in your State, but here we have Civil/common unions that give the benefits of marriage (economic assets, inheritances) without all the hassles of marriage.
It was thought for LGBT people, but also to keep the Church out of people's assets.

The laws vary but so does enforcement of crimes against spouses. No state makes it appealing to me, it's just something to hold you back and down.

Love union. A partnership in all things. Giving ownership of yourself to another. You belong to them and they belong to you.

Business partnership? You've picked the wrong words for the male in question getting married.

Its More like slavery or a legal form of mono-prostitution.

Love union. I'd never marry if I'm not in love. I'd rather be miserable on my own, than miserable with someone else.

I would say marriage is both a partnership in a business and a union of love.
