Really dont know what to do about my husband and his family?

So i am 30F married to my husband 31M in September. My husband supported me throughout 2019-2020 when i have no income, but became jobless at 2020, while my business is taking off since 2020 to now so i made good money to support us both, never demanded my husband to work/find money since we're comfortable

Recently i brought my husband to a 15 day trip, my husband is very attached to his mother, and right before we go we made sure to inform his mother that we're going. on the day of our flight back, suddenly MIL fell sick, supposedly she can't walk due to back pain.

While we're on transit, MIL calls my husband and cries saying she got stroke, can't walk etc etc, cried and demanded my husband to buy her medicine when its 2am and we're in the airport waiting for our next flight. Then when we arrived at 9am, husband and i hurriedly come to MIL's house, where she looks much better and things doesn't seem serious, but she demanded we bring her to a traditional medicine practitioner, which i objected bcs i thought doctor would be much better but husband kept saying "she's MY MOM! she's SICK!" All while using my money to pay for everything.

Then it started, i seriously have major doubts about my marriage seeing how my husband handled everything, my employee was sent to MIL's house to take care of her where they abused my employee, My employee complained to me saying she's sick and super sleep deprived, and i forwarded her complaints to my husband where he kept saying what can we do? My mother is sick we needed her there etc etc.

Now after 10 days i managed to get my employee back, but its just bad news after bad news everyday, MIL despite her stroke and high blood pressure threw tantrum, destroyed the lawn when her sons didn't visit, MIL ate fried food despite being forbad, etc etc. Im just honestly very tired with both my husband and his family, any opinions?

This is definitely a tough position. Part of me wants to say that if you have the money to help at your disposal then help your family. But at the same time, you aren’t obligated to do anything and it’s not ok for your husband to keep using money that he didn’t work for in order to pay his moms expenses.
It’s even worse to bring employees into it. Like I don't know what your business entails, but unless it’s paid caretaking then your husband is completely out of line. You don’t want him to be the downfall of what you’ve worked hard to build and you don’t need him taking advantage. So ultimately my advice is to demand he gets a job, remove his access to your employees and assure that he runs his purchases by you. Because at the end of the day, as his wife he should be consulting with you first about all of this anyway.

the absolute toxicity of this woman... does she not have her husband with her to take care of her? i'm so sick of mothers taking advantage of their children and using them as an emotional crutch. just take your money and run. this marriage won't last. i truly hope you have a prenup...

2. Husband appears to be enabling her behavior, though he probably does not realize that.
